What a perfectly preserved 1885 Victorian in Newburgh, New York. Even the neighborhood in the beautiful Hudson Valley, is idyllic.

Everything is intact- all the amazing architectural details. 

The sitting room looks like it’s used for reading and relaxation.

Fabulous fireplace and double pocket doors in the dining room.

The kitchen was redone in tasteful white cabinetry. 

The butler’s pantry is an example of what the original kitchen cabinetry looked like. Wow, I wish they showed more of the sink on the right.

This appears to be a little office.

This is one of the widest hallways I’ve seen in an older home. It’s large enough to accommodate that chaise with room to spare.

Lovely lounge full of original doors and notice the pass-through.

The master bedroom has a wonderful closet and en suite bath.

Other lovely bedrooms are roomy and get lots of light. 

From the porch is a view of the Hudson River.

Two porches and a big backyard.

What a lovely neighborhood. And, singer Billy Joel’s Rib Restaurant is just minutes away, too.
