Thinking about how Light and L were very close in the eyes of the task force.

L saying he considered Light his first friend, them spending all those months together 24/7, Light working with him despite being chained up and the first suspect. The way Light seemed to be the only one who could understand L, or the first to understand what he was saying. Light holding L in his arms when he died, being the first to react, and to be the one who needed one more moment in his grave.

At least one of them had to think there was something more going on likeee
