Life update: I got a job that keeps me busy all day and most of the week. It's for this reason that I can no longer post as much as before. I come home late and most of the time I'm too tired to do anything. BUT! I'm not leaving, I'll just post less than before. I will never give up my passion for drawing, I hope you'll understand ❤️. Oh! And a second part with a rubbit maid Mo Guan Shan is on making 😍.
Anatomy study: behind view. This was the quickest study I have done so far. The only mistake I make sometimes is the ear. I make it or too big or not oblique.

I had quite a hard time with the side view. So much that I had to do a second part because I wasn't so sure I really understood it. Starting from the beginning again with a new reference helped me a lot.
When you can't get better then start again from the basics!

Anatomy study: side view - part 1.
Yeah, I made a part two because I had many problems on drawing it, like:
- placing the eye in the correct position
- to make the end of the eyebrow not too long
- the hair ... my god the hair!!! I don't know why but I can't make them fluffy, they're always to stick to the head 😭.
While, how do you feel about it? Are you confident or do you struggle like me?
Sorry guys, I hoped to finish the drawing for my dtiys yesterday but I didn't feel very good. Plus this week I had so many problems on shading it... it's sad but I have to postpone it to next week 😔
While later you'll see another anatomy study I did two weeks ago.
While waiting for the dtiys, this is what I'm working on these past few weeks. I had the need to get better with anatomy and since Semantic Error has an amazing art style I decided to use it as reference.
I'm a bit shy to share it with you but I thought that myabe this could be useful to some of you. I don't want to do something fancy, I'm no position to teach or anything. Infact this little project will be more of a look on my notebook (? if this make sense). A look on how I draw things starting from simple shapes etc..
But I'm curious to know how YOU draw the sketches. From what you start of etc...
So let's transform this project in something where we share our personal tips and tricks, so as to also create connections between us.

It came to me that we could have events like Fandom Fests - Pairing Weeks, Bingo Cards, Big Bangs (authors provide summaries for fic and artists claim one to make fanart of) and Reverse Bangs (artists exhibit rough sketches fanart and authors claim one to write fic inspired by it) - in our small but talented fandom to motivate and incite even more content creation!
Of course in Bangs, since our fandom is tiny, all pairings would be allowed and welcomed. From main couples to crack or rare pairs, from monogamy to OT3s and even OT4s.
Pairing Weeks, on the other hand, would focus of each pairing exclusively.
Bingo could be either general or pairing-oriented.
I noticed we do have a Tianshan Week already, but I believe the blog hasn't been updated in years? Is anyone still creating content and posting on those dates? A revival of the tag would be nice!
What about Zhanyi, is there a week for them already? And Qiucheng? I did a quick search but nothing came up on that front. I'd propose assigning them their own weeks as well, for starters.
Would anyone be interested in participating and/or helping me out with the organizational processes for those?
