Uhh... I was going to say yes definitely.... but then I checked my posts and it looks like I only ever posted this version that's just a picture and not a scan.
I'm sure I scanned it when I got it but... the scan was on my external hard drive that I dropped and broke and so I can't access it anymore. 😭😭😭😭😭

Nothing new was announced. It is infinity week though so we've got the rest of the week! They're going to show the whole series on niconico for Reki's birthday with Hatanaka commenting on Ep 1. (They're just showing the episodes on niconico, Hatanaka will be commenting as it airs on instagram live)
This time they just read the answers to the poll questions.

They were sad that they weren't able to go to Okinawa and said that even though they weren't able to go this time, it won't be the last time they'll have an event there so they're going to have their revenge eventually!
They were reading some of the comments at the beginning and it seemed like some people from Okinawa were watching because they were saying the wind was really strong in Okinawa at the moment.
Chiaki (Langa's actor) said that this is their first time ever doing an instagram live and that the time they did the OP dance on tiktok was the first time they ever used tiktok.
They comment about how it's been 3 years since they did the voice recording for the first season and about 2 years since the anime ended so they're happy that so many people are still so interested in it and coming to watch the live.
They move on to the poll questions. They read each question and then give their opinions before revealing the results of the poll.
Who is the most fashionable character?
Chiaki says that he thinks Reki is and Hatanaka is surprised but Chiaki says it's because he makes his own designs for skateboards and stuff so while it's a unique sense of fashion he thinks he's stylish.
Chiaki asks who Hatanaka thinks would win and he says Cherry.
They joke about whether they think shadow is fashionable or not since his style is so weird and Chiaki says that Joe is pretty fashionable too but Hatanaka says he doesn't even wear clothes lol.
So as a final result Chiaki chooses Reki, Cherry, and Joe. But if they had to choose one Reki.
The results?

People could write in why they thought they should win and one person said he's very pretty and he uses Carla to study what would make him look the best. Hatanaka says one that says "His outward appearance is important to his job" is like Cherry is answering the question himself.

Hatanaka said he thought maybe Langa would be in there but Chiaki said that Langa's mom buys all his clothes anyway so it's his mom.

They instantly remove Reki and Langa from the options lol. They then choose Kikuchi. Since he drives every day and can even fly a helicopter. They say Shadow would also be good because he also drives every day and he has to be careful of the flowers in the car. Chiaki says that he thinks Miya would probably be good if he got a license. He's quite serious so he'd probably be good... but he gets upset and hates losing so he might have a problem with road rage too lol. Chiaki asks Hatanaka to choose one other person and he says no to Joe and then just says Kikuchi or Shadow.
So their final answer is Kikuchi or Shadow but definitely Kikuchi.

Hatanaka is surprised since Joe seems wild and he seems like he'd be a wild driver. Chiaki says that he's nice to Reki and the girls around him though and Hatanaka realizes that it's not about who is a safe driver but that it would be a driving date. The girls would be excited by Joe lol.

He drives luxury cars so he's probably a good driver.

Chiaki instantly says Joe and Hatanaka chooses Langa. Chiaki agrees and says that he's awkward so he would be cute. Hatanaka says that Cherry might be fun and Chiaki says Adam is really charismatic but Hatanaka says that he'd be too nervous to select him. Chiaki says that he seems like he'd really love you. Hatanaka says that such a deep love from a host is a bit much lol.
So their final results are Chiaki choosing Adam and Hatanaka choosing Joe.

Making people want to take care of you is also a good way to be a host.

Chiaki says Reki would be good but Hatanaka says he wouldn't be good at being the funny guy (vs the straight man). Chiaki says he'd be a good straight man but Hatanaka thinks he'd mess up at that too lol. Chiaki then chooses Shadow and Hatanaka thinks he'd be good at being the straight man. They're looking at the others and they say that Cherry and Joe are already a comedy duo themselves. Hatanaka says he'd also want to see Adam and Kikuchi as a duo... but that's not the question it's who you would partner with!
So as a final result Hatanaka chooses Kikuchi. Chiaki jokes that he'd take Kikuchi too but he chooses Reki. Hatanaka then jokes saying that in that case I choose Langa! and says that he would want to be a straight man for Langa and ends up switching to him.

Chiaki says that Reki and Langa would make a good duo and Hatanaka agrees.

Chiaki says that realistically Adam since he's actually a politician. But because of S it might be a little dangerous lol. Hatanaka chooses Cherry since he'd do it properly. Chiaki seems to think that nobody would be that bad at it and Hatanaka says that actually Manager Oka would probably be good. Chiaki says Miya would probably be the most serious about it once he becomes and adult.

Chiaki wonders what question Langa would have been able to be first in. Hatanaka says "Who would you want to spend time on the porch with?" and Chiaki says "So like who would you want to hang out with when you become old?" Hatanaka says "Who would clean your ears out the most gently?" and Chiaki says he thinks it would be Reki but Hatanaka says he definitely wouldn't be able to do it.
They are about to end it when they're reminded that they have a video to show but when they're switching to show the video on a projector they accidentally ended the live lol... they quickly started it back up though.

They decide to go with Reki and then switch back to the video.
Nagatsuka's answers were

He says he chose him because even in the story he pulls Miya out of his loneliness. So he thinks if they were the same age he'd still talk to him and become his friend.

He says it's because they have really similar faces and that they'd look like twins if they were the same age and they have similar personalities. He thinks they'd probably play games together.

He says the reason why is because Miya became friends with him before he even became friends with Reki. He thinks they understand each other.
Nagatsuka asks if they got it right and says of course they did because it's obvious.
Chiaki says that there was someone in the comments while they were switching the camera that said Sketchy lol
Hatanaka complains that Tadashi and Miya's faces don't look that similar. Chiaki says they're cats and dogs but then they say that outside of when he's with Adam he can seem pretty catish.... but other than that it's just their hair color that's similar! But they had no idea it would be Sketchy lol
They finished with showing all of the merch that they're selling for infinity week and then announcing that Hatanaka is going to do a live commentary of episode 1 on instagram live as the series is aired on Niconico for Reki's birthday. Chiaki won't be there it's just Hatanaka.
They talk about how Chiaki didn't make it to the infinity week event in Okinawa last year and they couldn't go this year so hopefully next time he'll finally be able to visit Okinawa!

Mappa just announced a new anime they're making directed by Utsumi Hiroko called Bucchigiri?! It will be releasing in January of 2024.
It's an original anime about delinquents in a futuristic Arabian nights setting.
When you make a true wish, 1000 nights will answer.
Synopsis:
When former best friends Tomoshibi Arajin (灯荒仁 ともびしあらじん ) and Asamine Matakara (浅観音真宝 あさみねまたから) they get wrapped up in a battle between strong warriors...
Then the figure of a large genie appears...?!

This is the first time "Bucchigiri?!" is being seen.
I wanted the teaser visual of the two of them to seem like it was just as if the world of Arabian nights had leaped into the future… but it doesn't seem like that at all. The image and the trailer are both completely incomprehensible but that's what this work is!
……that's what I decided at least.
Even the setting is in shambles.
It's called "Bucchi" for short. We're going to be working hard so please keep us in mind.

Bucchigiri is a hard word to translate because it can mean to win by a large margin or to be torn into pieces, pulverized, to be in shambles, etc... Basically it's supposed to imply they're fighting and beating each other up but it can be used both ways and it's used both ways in this announcement...
Q: What did you keep in mind while creating episode 7 as Reki’s mood gradually darkened?
Since it’s summer, it started with really bright colors. It starts with a bright clear summer sky and as Reki’s mood drops it becomes more and more cloudy and the colors become dimmer. Since we wanted to make it rain in the final scene we didn’t want it to rain at all in the episodes before it. In the scene where they’re under the overpass, Reki is in the shadows and Langa is in the light. We wanted to naturally create a boundary between the two and not just rely on their words and expressions but use the whole screen to show Reki’s emotions.
Q: Was that overpass also a place you found while location hunting?
There’s no star but it’s a real location. So the layout of light and shadow was from the location, not something we made up. When Langa finishes the jump he’s out from under the overpass so he naturally goes out into the light but since Reki can’t reach it he can’t leave the shadow either. I really like that scene since it uses the light and shadow of the actual location.
Q: How did you show Langa’s expressions?
Langa’s facial muscles are pretty much dead so he’s expressionless… (lol). But as he spends time with Reki they slowly loosen up so I think they naturally get pulled out of him. We made them based on him being expressionless as the standard. But Langa unexpectedly ended up showing more facial expressions than we originally assumed and he kept showing expressions that weren’t on the character design sheets so Langa’s expressions always troubled me (Painful laugh).
Q: Langa complimented Reki in episode 10, but did Langa realize that Reki had an inferiority complex?
He’s pretty slow so I don’t think he realized. For Langa, I think this was the first time he’d ever fought with a friend who was important to him. Since he didn’t know what to do, he asked his mother since she was the only person he could go to for advice, and since she told him “Being honest about your feelings is best,"that was just him putting her advice into action. He didn’t think he had to do it "for Reki,” he just wanted to express his own feelings.
Q: And I think those feelings reached Reki.
Reki realized that Langa was the only one who had seen him as a skater the whole time, from the very beginning, and I think that’s what made Reki the happiest.
Songs that went viral on the internet at some point from the beginning to current. I tried to pick some where it wasn’t so obvious where they were from but some are kind of obvious.
You don’t know how hard it was to find the names to some of these songs. You should see my search history… “Really depressing Belarusian song that sounds like it’s from the 80′s” “Russian song about spinning…” It’s a lot of that kind of stuff. It’s extremely frustrating to hear the words in another language in your head but you just cannot begin to spell them. I hope I might have helped some of you guys out if you heard one of these songs but had no idea how to ever find it again.
