i’m sure it was talked about but i really love yasha’s reaction to jester painting the wildflowers. she peeks. she asks to touch it. she blows on it to help it dry quicker. when we meet yasha she’s this big dark serious woman. she’s aloof and her whole color scheme is pretty much greyscale, she’s the barbarian with the tragic backstories. and she’s so soft and silly! like the interaction in cr2e62, her immediate reaction to jester’s kindness, was silly. imagine, this big buff goth woman smiling and blowing on a wall of wet paint as if that’s going to help it dry quicker. it’s adorable! and i have admittedly terrible memory and haven’t had a chance to rewatch the episodes at all yet, but the scene where yasha shaves caleb? absolutely silly. and i love it a lot that yasha’s personality, even buried beneath her past and her appearance and her current plot struggle, is funloving and ridiculous and adorable.
