Campaign 4 ep. 25 schemers table combat had some of the most exhilarating strategic gameplay I’ve ever seen in an actual play.

Yes the roleplay and the story were crazy but just TACTICALLY they were so good.

Murray managing to stay invisible for so long. The PORTENT revealing Brennan was lying. Hal alone in the secret surprise battlefield, using scary bard voice to force failed saves. Bolaire and Azune’s graceful, dance-like collaboration. King Gus pulling an Amethar Rocks style recovery from an assassination attempt. It was just all mechanically genius.
