It was also submerged in flood waters and under mandatory evacuation orders two weeks prior to the picture being taken, but now restored to be as beautiful as ever!

A mere 2 weeks after flood waters submerge and force the evacuation of downtown Calgary (including the Stampede Grounds) and neighbouring communities, residents rally together to help neighbours rebuild homes and to support the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. Proud to be Calgarian.
