It costs exactly zero dollars and zero cents to NOT comment on someone's body. It really takes no effort whatsoever. A co-worker commented on how my body looked the other day (albeit her intentions were innocent) but just don't do it, bro. I've looked "healthy" and I've looked "sick". Sometimes I look great but I'm miserable wondering if my cardiac damage can be reversed. Sometimes I look awful but I'm riding high on a really good week of A+ meals. Recovery is super hard and comments (in either direction) are confusing.
