idk I'll probably post writing stuff on occasion. Never mind, I lied and it’s all actually just fandom. I double lied but also told the truth, it's both actually
I feel like it's been too long without a post saying what fandoms I'm in and willing to write for (mostly whump, no smut), so here that list is:
Star Wars - Mostly clones, my favourites are the Bad Batch (mostly Crosshair), Wolffe, and Jesse, though I do write others, I may not love them all equally, but I do love them all
Marvel - Not strictly MCU, in fact, quite removed from recent stuff, big fan of Bucky and Hawkeye, Gambit for the X-Men. Oh, and Spider-Man, of course
Ninjago - Show and movie, I love them both. In case you couldn't tell from my profile picture, Cole is my favourite, but I do like some Kai whump too, and maybe a little Lloyd, though he gets the spotlight a lot because he's special boy so I tend to not lean too hard into him (Pixal is my other favourite, but I very much lean towards whumping guys, the girlies are the ones holding it together lol)
The Magnus Archives - Tim is my guy, I love him, but I'm willing to hurt Jon too (it's the law to hurt Jon in this fandom). I am only partway through season 4 BUT I don't give a fuck about spoilers, I know how it ends, that goes for most fandoms I'm in
The Batfam - LOVE some Jason or Dick whump (call me basic), don't mind some Tim or Bruce either. And we can get other supers involved too, let's test Wally's speed healing or get some Kryptonite involved
Critical Role - Love some Percy, Vax, or Ashton whump (can you tell who tends to play my favourites lol). I know I'd love some Caleb or Molly too, but I've only seen a tiny bit of Campaign 2, and I haven't seen the show yet so I'm operating on vague spoilers there lol so I'm not too sure I'd nail the characterisation
Any others I've missed will be added as I remember them/fixate on them again lol
As always, picking what prompts to include was really hard thanks to you guys' wonderful brains, but we hope this list will excite many of you! Additional info + plain text versions of the prompts can be found under the cut. Please check the FAQ below before sending asks.
FAQ and Rules
What sort of content can I create for this event?
You can create whatever you want (fic, art, edits, etc). Any fandom is allowed, as well as OC stuff. NSFW is allowed, but please tag your content accordingly! The only thing not allowed is AI-generated content. You're also free to combine these prompts with the prompts of any other event.
Do I need to make 31 things to participate?
Oh heavens no! You can make as much or as little content as you like, skip days when desired, or combine prompts (so for example, write something that covers a prompt from day 1, 2, AND 3). You don't have to do the days in order either, go wild! To be considered a 'completionist', you only have to make sure that at the end of the month, you've covered 31 prompts from 31 different days, but whether you do that in 31 works or just 1 is up to you. Your works can be separate oneshots or one continuous fic, or something in-between.
How do I interpret these prompts?
Creativity is the name of the game here! If you don't understand a prompt, feel free to send us an ask about it. However, the important thing is you can interpret the prompts however you want. For example, 'heat' could be literal (fever, heatstroke, burn wounds) or figurative (somebody getting heat for something). The dialogue prompts are allowed to be slightly rewritten to fit better for the character whose mouth it's coming out of, be that the whumpee, whumpter, or caretaker. As long as you're having fun!
What are these alts about?
If none of the three prompts of a particular day are your cup of tea, you can swap them out for an alt prompt of your choice. This will count as having covered that day for completionists.
How do I tag my works and is there an AO3 collection?
It suffices to tag your work with #ailesswhumptober for us to see and reblog it! Please also tag nsfw content, since we'll be using that tag on this blog too. Tagging the day is optional but does help the mods along.
There will be an AO3 collection like every year. It will be linked here once created (closer to October).
What's this I hear about badges/achievements?
For those who want an extra challenge, we come up with a set of achievements each year in addition to the 'completionist' one for you to strive for. Each achievement you complete comes with a cool little badge, hand drawn by our very own Mod Radio, which you can claim at the end of the event. A full list of the achievements will be linked here once created (closer to October).

I'm gonna be working on this gradually for the next couple months, I'm already loving days 22, 26 and 27, and I've been lowkey wanting to do a fic about hanging (day 28), so exciting stuff there
I'm open to taking requests related to the prompts here so feel free to ask (they also don't have to be related at all to any prompts if you just have an idea you want to see I'm open to hear it, especially since we're two months away from these fics seeing the light of day lol). I'm also considering expanding into other fandoms (I've been keeping an eye on X-Men 97 and am very excited about that) but we'll see how that goes, I'm very comfortable with the clones so the likelihood of them dominating the list is very high lol
