One of things which make Layton a great character to me, it's the fact that it's always interesting to see how he'll react even to pretty ordinary things.

For example, it's just rubbish on floor, but I instantly went "hey, hey, I wonder what he'll say 👀👀👀"

...and wasn't disappointed, of course XD

Here he easily surpasses my brainrot characters, because in their case the reaction is pretty banal in the most cases. Meanwhile, Layton always manages to tell something that's both interesting and make you respect him even more.
