Your life is long. You have a lot of years to experience almost everything, to fall in love. A relationship isn't just all about kisses, hugging and dates. It's way more broad than that.

Being a relationship means, you have to prepare to be hurt because you will at least get hurt once. It means that you must be prepared for the arguments and fights. It means that you must be mature, take your partner seriously. It means that you must be loyal.A relationship also means sacrifice. Sacrificing your time and attention. It means splitting your time and attention even more.

Well anonymous, I once had a friend who had her own problems. Problems which she I never knew of about until the night she died. If she hadn't kept her problems to herself, death wouldn't have been the choice she chose. I have made this blog to help those out there who have their own problems to prevent them from becoming like my friend. I am also a psychologist. This blog helps me to help those out there as much as I can.

Dear Amy Bella, Let’s just say my name is Ella. I have a friend and let’s say her name is Jane. Jane and I have been best friends since first year of primary. A few days ago, we had an argument. I’m starting to gain feelings for her boyfriend Seth. Actually, it’s been going on for a while now. I haven’t told Jane yet, of course. But seeing her and Seth together kills me every time. What should I do?

Oooh, that's a tough situation you’re in right now, Ella. I'm sorry to say but, as long as they are together, all you can do is stay on the sidelines. She's your bestfriend, I'm sure you wouldn't want to steal Seth from her. As for the hurting part, you have two options.

You're going to have to try to avoid it or tolerate it. Embrace the pain and just support their love. Yes it's hard, but remember Ella, life is hard and she IS your bestfriend. We don't always get what we want. Even if they break up, being Jane's bestfriend, you shouldn't go for Seth straight away. You should give them some time first, or maybe even ask Jane if it's okay to date her ex-boyfriend.

Tell Jane the truth, however there are a few consequences to this. One of them is that since she is your bestfriend after all, she will understand and may reduce the amount of time she spends with Seth, at least in front of you. The other consequence is that she might become threatened. She may ask Seth or you not to talk to each other. This you're going to have to understand. Although it shouldn't happen considering you girls have been bestfriends since primary.

It's never to late to say sorry, regardless how big the argument was. If you believe it wasn't your fault, still talk to them. Solve it with them. I'm sure you wouldn't want one/any of them to die having a grudge on each other. It's sad to say, yes, but it's true.

Go to them, call them and just calmly talk about it. Keep in mind though, it may not start off smoothly but you shouldn't give up! It's your family for heaven sake.

Don't neglect your family.

Your family is the first people you met, the people you grew up with and the people who will always be there for you.

As we grow up, we tend to create a distance from them. This may be the cause of your career or love relationship. These things happen at times, but you must do your best to keep the distance as small as you can. Don't neglect your family because they will be the only ones you turn to when your friends or partners aren't there for you. Visit during Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and even a single phone call can take you back. Keep in touch with them!

Organization

Organization can help you a lot during school.

Organizing is basically when you sort and classify things and when you have something that will remind you of upcoming events.

It will help you to keep up with homework, assignments and tests. You will also know where everything is if it's organized. Nothing will get lost. Your room and bag will also be neater than it was when it was disorganized, which your mom will absolutely love.

Ways to get organized:

Have a schedule diary/agenda and ACTUALLY USE IT.

Put textbooks or any books in order on a shelf. Separate the books on different shelves. Eg. Place exercise books on top shelf, place non-fiction books on second shelf, place fiction books on third shelf etc..

Using a whiteboard, a big cardboard or any big piece of paper, write down all the MAIN AND IMPORTANT UPCOMING events. Change and update regularly.

Throw away any useless papers.

Using a divided folder, place your sheets inside. In each slot can be a different subject, notes or assignments.

Create back-up files on flash drives or in your email.

Keep everything as neat as possible!

Ways to overcome depression/sad moods.

Do something you love the most for the whole day. It will be better if you were doing it with a friend. This will keep your mind off the problem or may even cure it.

Go on an outing with your friends. Have fun! Your friends will be there for you, they will help you get through it. They may even be able to turn your problem into laughter.

Eat chocolates. It contains a certain chemical called phenylethylamine which make the brain release endorphins which give you a happier emotion.

Go on vacation or go some place where you can relax. Maybe at a spa, a remote island, a personal hotel room or you may even have your own private place. The place I usually go when I'm not in the best mood or just to think, I go on a rooftop or in my backyard during the night, lie down facing the night sky and just look at the stars. I find it very calming.

Having a crush.

Having a crush is not a sin. It's a natural experience which we all go through whether you are a heterosexual, a bisexual and/or a homosexual.

Having a crush can be a good experience. It gives us a goal and something to look forward to. Whether it's to look forward to coming to school or looking forward to taking your bus.

Having a crush, however, can be a sad experience. It increases our expectations which may lead to disappointments. We might also get hurt if things don't turn out the way we want it to be. But this shouldn't be a reason to prevent yourself from crushing on someone. In fact, it's good. We will experience the pain it gives us, but then our heart will be much stronger, ready for what is going to come next.
