I was fighting it, but...
So today is the end of the first week on Jenny Craig. I have my consultation today, which means weigh in, which I hope is good. I always thought Jenny Craig was a last resort, in a negative way. But I’m learning it is a last resort, in a positive way. Here are some reasons why:
A) It takes the thinking and worrying about food away: usually you have to think of your menu, count calories, buy food that sometimes you won’t eat, worry about portions. All of that angst and worry and thinking is taken over by Jenny Craig.
B) You get to talk to a non-partial about your weight and health concerns: no joke, it’s therapy! And for a much lower twice than a therapist would cost! And Jenny Craig consultants expect it!
C) Goals: they want you to succeed, they help you set long and short term goals. And this keeps you positive and motivated.
D) You have someone to account to: sometimes that’s all you need to keep on track.
