There are 2 things we should never have to chase;

1. True Friends

2. True Love

People make time for who they want to make time for... People text & reply to people they want to talk to. When someone tells you that they are too busy continuously... BELIEVE THEM. Don't try to convince them otherwise, don't try to force them to make time for you... Cause if they want to, they will.

I know it damn well hurts but you can't force someone to have the same energy, vibe or feelings as you have. You shouldn't have to beg someone to love you... You shouldn't have to beg someone to care... You shouldn't have to beg someone to try... You shouldn't have to beg someone to talk to you... And most importantly, you shouldn't have to beg someone to put you first... Cause if they wanted to, they would.

Don't let people become a priority in your life... When all you are to them is an option.

You’re not too sensitive. You’re allowed to be hurt by the hurtful things other people say/do.

you’re going to love again, find a job again, create art again, do what you love again, feel powerful again. you’re going to be back on track. i don’t know when, but you are going to feel like yourself again, eventually. this isn’t the end. hang in there.

okay, but... what if it does?

mentally, i'm not always strong. i have a lot of moments of weakness. i cry a lot, i overreact, i spend days isolating myself because socializing is so exhausting. my anxiety gets so bad that it physically exhausts me, it makes me sick to my stomach i have to sleep for hours to recover. physically, im weaker. i cant carry heavy things for long periods, i have to rest FREQUENTLY, im constantly exhausted.

so what, so why is being weak bad? does it make you a bad person? does it make you unworthy of love, of respect, of compassion? of course not.

your "strength" does not determine your worth. your value is not determined by what you can (physically or mentally) do for others or for society. you have value just by being.

take care of yourself. dont push yourself just because you feel like you need to be seen as "strong."

Today, my struggle is almost impossible to deal with. I'm slowly fading away from my hopes in him, and starting to accept that there's nothing i can do to help him or change. And i can't do this for much too long because i have myself to be responsible for. I don't wanna lose myself while i'm so obsessively trying to help him heal. If he doesn't want to, i shouldn't. I must not expect, i must not hope too much. I have done all i could. I should focus on healing and forgiving myself the most. I should love myself and be happy on my own first. No matter what, i must remember to put myself first, at all times, regardless of the circumstances. In Shaa Allah, I shall now continue to pray for the best and for guidance, and i shall leave everything else to Allah SWT.
