Part 2 of my Yuri!!! on Ice location pilgrimage takes us to locations along the Chikuhi line that covers Saga as well as its neighbouring prefecture, Fukuoka. Featured above are Hamasaki Beach (浜崎海水浴場), Iizuka Ice Palace (飯塚アイスパス), Kagamiyamaonsen Chaya Bijin Hot Spring (鏡山温泉茶屋 美人の湯) and the Nakasu Yatai street stalls (博多 中洲屋台).

Got very little done today, but here is my redrawing of one of my favorite screencaps in the show! Maybe it’s me projecting, but I always found it incredibly beautiful that Viktor arrived at Hasetsu during a late snow in April. I’ve always had a seasonal mood disorder, and I interpret the scene of Yuuri waking up late to a large snowfall very late into Spring to be a reference to his depressive episode lasting longer than usual. That is, right before Viktor shows up and gets him to take better care of himself and build his confidence
