Hello, everyone!
Welcome to my new sideblog for the very silly task of making a pilot episode script for the Torchwood Reboot I've had in my mind for months now. I'll possibly even end up making more scripts if the first goes well.
I want this to be an interactive experience for all. So, anyone and everyone who has loved Torchwood (show, books, audios) is welcome into my asks with ideas and concepts and questions. You can even come to tell me what you wish had been in Torchwood that you'd like written in this, or just come to generally yap about the universe as a whole. I'll be posting polls and snippets and sneak peaks. It's possible I'll even end up commissioning some artists if I find myself with enough money to do so.
We'll have new characters, new aliens, new threats, new possible crossovers. And it'll all be done with the campy yet gritty feel of the original Torchwood show. This is to say, this is an LGBTQ+ owned account and so it will be, like Doctor Who/Torchwood, an inherently queer project. If this is something you take issue with, this is not the place for you. Please see yourself out. This will also go for racism and misogyny, too. Anyone with bigoted views is far from welcome on my page or in this silly project I'm putting together.
Additionally, of course, I own nothing here but the characters and aliens I create. The universe belongs to those who created it, as do any characters that are incorporated. I have no intentions of passing off the concept of Torchwood as my own and I have no intentions of making money off of this project. I just think it'll be fun. It's basically fanfiction in a different form. (Obviously, if anyone at the BBC ends up seeing this and wants to take me on as a writer then I'm not gonna say no 🤪 That's kind of my deam career and what I'm going to Uni for.)
Anyway, all this to say, welcome and I hope everyone has lots of fun here. Let your creativity flow in my asks and make sure you keep notifs on for updates!
