Today on “Things that definitely happened at least once”:

The crew is searching for Riker after a shuttle crash and are afraid that he’s dead. Riker is in fact alive but injured, and starts the intense concentration necessary for him to send a telepathic message of words and not just emotions to Troi. Troi senses the concentration, tells Picard that Riker is alive and sending more details, and then is dismayed to discover that the only message he’s been able to transmit is the thought “concentrate concentrate concentrate.”
