If you've seen the episode of Mr. Robot when Elliot breaks Shayla's drug dealer out of prison could you do a hc where the reader is in the boot of the car but the dealer keeps his word and returns the reader- alive- to Elliot?
You have to keep faith that Elliot will get you out of this
Vera isnât exactly the most trustworthy person
And since his men took you, they made it very clear that if Elliot didnât do whatever it was Vera wanted, you were going to die
They may have even insinuated that you wouldnât be making it out of this alive either way
But you couldnât let yourself succumb to the fear
You wouldnât give them the satisfaction
Elliot would do everything he could
No one would try as hard as he would. No one would be willing to go as far as he would to help you
When they put you in the car, you know this is it
This is how the story ends
That trunk is going to open, and one of two people will be standing above you: your saviour or your executioner
Your hands and feet were tied up
And the drive was long enough that your legs were numb by the time the car stopped
You could hear muffled voices outside the car
But you couldnât make out what they were saying
The trunk didnât open right away
It didnât open for a long time, actually
When you heard the key in the latch, your breath got caught in your throat
And you held it as the trunk swung open, only to release it in one hard gust when you saw Elliot standing over you
An engine starting and wheels turning over gravel almost drowned out the sound of men yelling. Almost.
Elliot pulls the gag out of your mouth and lifts you out of the trunk
Youâre surprised by how strong he is
You try to stand on your own, but your legs wonât hold you up
Elliot keeps his arms around you and helps you over to the passengerâs side door
You donât bother asking why youâre at a prison or why the inmates are running around in the yard in the middle of the night
As soon as Elliot gets in the driverâs seat, he starts the car and you take off
He doesnât even take the time to untie you
But you canât blame him for that
You wanted to get as far away from that prison as you could too
Neither of you speak while you drive
He pulls the car over about ten blocks away, and reaches over to untie you
âWe can walk to the subway from here.â
As much as you didnât want to walk, you knew ditching the car was probably a good idea if Vera or his crew had been anywhere near it
Elliot has to half carry you down the street
But itâs late enough that no one gives a shit about your odd situation
When you get in the subway, you feel like you can breathe for the first time
You and Elliot find a seat, and you press into his side
You rest your head on his shoulder
Thatâs the first time you feel like you can actually cry
You sob into his shoulder
While Elliot gently rubs your arm
Your tears run dry after the first five stops
You let out a shaky âthank youâ
And Elliot just kisses the top of your head
