I genuinely hate the way they are handling Annie’s powers. This episode is just adding even more fuel to the fire she has already been getting since season 3 with her being useless.

We were promised a huge power up since the season 3 finale, but then she went through an identity crisis thus not using her powers (funny enough, this is the season where they are trying to find a way to kill Victoria Neuman who uses her eyes to use her powers). Then after that fight with the shifter, we were given a huge tease about her power up for the finale of The Boys. I have been waiting to see her get a huge moment with her powers, but instead they have been sidelining her. I am not going to get my hopes up, but I am keeping my expectations low because I am just tired with the treatment of her character.

They used up all that budget for Annie in the first two episodes and said that’s enough… I hope they do something BIG with her character in the last two episodes.
