Reality
“Reality is what we take to be true,” pioneering physicist David Bohm asserted in 1977. “What we take to be true is what we believe… What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.”
Creative Mornings
I was checking out a blog Swiss Miss [swiss-miss.com] by Tina Roth Eisenberg
I found this very interesting and thought that perhaps all might enjoy a morning moment of Creative Mornings [creativemornings.com]
“Don’t allow your mind to tell your heart what to do. The mind gives up easily”
― Paulo Coelho
True nobility isn’t about being better than anyone else; it’s about being better than you used to be.
~Wayne Dyer
Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
You don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.
~Shirley Hufstedler
When we let the expectations of others or own unreasonable self-expectations rule, we silence the power of our Legacies.
Joy DeKok
Angel. Broken. In fantasy, wings appear on faeries, sprites and pixies. In religion, wings appear on angels, spirits and demons. In mythology, winged creatures are messengers of the gods. In dreams, wings represent a release of creative forces. A character having one wing is said to be lost in dreams.
-James Christensen "Sleeper, Lost in Dreams"
Laid side-by-side, a stick and a rope have a similar profile. Likewise, rules and principles look alike even though they have little in common. Rules are like sticks. You can prod people with them. You can threaten people with them. You can beat people with them. But you cannot lead people with them. When a rule doesn't fit the circumstance, your only choice is to break it. Principles are like rope, able to be wrapped around even the most weirdly shaped problems. They are less brittle than rules, and stronger. Principles whisper priceless advice and people are happily led by them. A rule requires obedience. A principle requires contemplation. Simple people living in a push-button society demand simple rules. Wise men and women understand and apply universal laws.
Roy H. Williams From: "The Monday Morning Memo"
"The reward for conformity is that everyone likes you but yourself."
- Rita Mae Brown, Venus Envy, 1994

My mom always told me - "Never let your fears dominate your life" - and I had always thought that it was the fear of failure that kept me from overcoming ... - Note to SELF: It is my fear of succeeding ...
- My Own Mind's Eye [Jae]
The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. The first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.
A. A. Milne
