"Let me love you"
Let me be the shoulder you lean on, the body that shields you. Let my hands be those that worship your body like the holiest of templest and my voice be that which sings you you highest of praises. Let my mouth recite you poem after poem, all in the hopes of expressing the endless yearning I feel for you. Let my lungs give you the air they hold so that you may never end up breathless. Let my eyes drink in the sight of you as you lie by the fire, it's light illuminating your features beautifully, and allow them to burn that picture into my mind for eternity. Let me be the one to gently pry open your chest and nestle myself into your ribcage, so that I can make myself a home right next to your heart. Let me cradle it gently, like I would the most valuable of treasures, and cherish it in the way it was always meant to be cherished.
For there will never be a way in which I do not love you, and there will never be a time in which I will not gaze upon you and see you as the one that has held my brittle heart in your delicate hands, showing it how to love once more.
