Lol what if the book of Genesis was basically the story of what would have happened if Thanos succeeded in snapping his fingers at the end of Endgame?
*Thanos snaps everyone and everything out of existence. He exist in nothingness for an unknown amount of time, since time no longer exists. He is ready to start the universe over from scratch*
Genesis 1:1; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
*Thanos snaps and creates space and the planets in it. He creates earth first because it was where he accomplished his life long goal of finding the stones, and ironically it was where his last battle took place and where he met some of his most respectable foes, like Tony Stark.*
Genesis 1:2-3; ²Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
ÂłAnd God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
*Thanos stood over the formless planet and began molding it into his liking. He also created light*
And over the course of 7 days he created animals and the plants and dominate creatures to rule the planet(man). And through the course of biblical history man developed and multiplied all while Thanos went back out into the Heavens(space) to further create and mold it. Even recreating his homeworld, Titan, and his race of people.
And after eons of years passing he has created a balanced universe with enough resources for every creature to thrive off of. Thanos grows tired of being all powerful with the stones now that he has completed his life long goal, so he separates them and spreads them each throughout the galaxy. He allows himself to settle down on an isolated farm planet that he created to live out the rest of his life peaceful.
In an ironic twist, an unknown amount of time passes and somewhere out there on his recreated homeworld, Titan, a young Thanos is born. The planet implodes due to an imbalance of resources and mouths to feed. Thus sending young Thanos into madness prompting him to dedicate his life to bringing balance to life...no, to the universe, because no other planet should have to suffer the long and painful agony of famine, poverty, and war.
And the moral of this trippy ass fanfic post is that Thanos' existence is basically and endless loop of tragedy, conquering, and rebuilding. His destiny is as predictable as flipping a coin; either heads or tails. This cycle has happened an incalculable amount of times. BUT, Avengers Endgame was the one in infinity coin flip where the coin actually landed on it's edge, instead.
I wonder what will happen to the universe now that Thanos isn't around to rebalance it.
