cleptaarâ:
â You of all people should know that I am never dramatic. â Of course, that was far from the truth, but he knew Gem would see right through his sarcasm. After knowing each other for so long, he simply trusted that she knew him well enough to not take everything he says too seriously. With a loud and, unquestionably, an overly dramatic sigh he sat down on a barrel, looking up at his old friend. â If you knew this person, youâd fake your death as well! â He told her before a burst of laughter escaped from his lips as she listed her suggestions. â Swallowed whole by a whale? That sounds fitting. Then after a month or two when he has finally forgotten who I am, Iâll miraculously escape from the mouth of the beast and come back triumphantly! â
Gem gave a playful scoff at his words as she shook her head. âOh, I have many people in my life that I would fake my death for.â There was just something that made her give him these little details of her old life. It was never enough to really give him an idea of her childhood or growing up before they met, but he knew more than most which was definitely saying something. âOh, I got the most awful image of that.â She laughed. âBut it fits you very well.â
