I was originally going to write small fic, but just ramblings is more fun.

It was illegal for women to wear men clothes for centuries (this was also one of the main reasons why Joan of Arc was sentenced for heresy, no kidding)
However, in 1800 (17th November to be exact) there was a law that said :
“Any woman who wants to dress like a man must go to the Police for permission to do so with an official medical order" (Decree concerning the cross-dressing of women)
What does that mean ?
Well it means that if you paid a doctor well enough, you had an authorization to wear pants. However, it wasn't for life, you had to renew it and make it valid by the Police.
I hate wearing dresses and skirts, so obviously, Comte used his relations to allow me to dress as a man 😏 because Comte drinks woman respect juice every morning for centuries
Fun fact : this law got deleted in 2013, meaning that women still were illegally wearing pants for several decades 😎🤣

Biggest mistake in my thinking process as a teen was "I'm not a lesbian because if I were I would Just Know." Sometimes, you gotta question your own sexuality (and gender) (several times.) Questioning my "attraction" to men instead of just accepting it as fact was..... so freeing. And made me reflect on my entire life, realizing I was just doing what I was told because it was expected. I realized none of it was natural to my true self.
But no, in a cispatriarchal heteronormative society, sometimes you do not Just Know. You have to figure out your own truth.
