Sunwoo is very careful with what he does especially when he’s around you. Even more when he needed to make a decision with every move he made. One of his biggest habits is putting you first. he wouldn’t hesitate or starts complaining when you’re struggling or needing something that requires him to move a lot even if he’s in the most comfortable position in his life.

he cares for you too much to start caring about his own self.

so knowing how his attitude would act, you try to at least make the most minimum struggle as you could so he could stay at his own spot. Even if that means you accidentally cut yourself with a knife, you really didn’t want him to know until you were able to stop the bleeding and put a bandage on it so he worries less. So to begin with, you would rather die than putting a lot of burden on him even if he wants to climb up a mountain just for you to struggle less. He was Kim Sunwoo after all. Not surprising. But living with him was more crucial when most of his cabinets are the same height as him.

He was a literal giant. Everything in the apartment is hard to reach unless with the help of a stool.

genuinely sucks. That maybe hurt your pride a little.

You already knew the purpose to as why he was putting you first which you could easily understand but at the same time you were starting to think if taking care of you was hard. The last thing you want to see was an upset Sunwoo when you injured yourself.

Cutting things? Sunwoo. Taking stuff from a damn high cabinet? Sunwoo.

at this point he conquers the kitchen cutting duties when you’re cooking something that requires knife skills.

So you did things without him acknowledging it. At least you tried. Without Sunwoo you would probably end up at the hospital with bruises and cuts on a daily basis. you winced when you felt the sharp object accidentally skinned in your finger, blood trickling at the tip of your finger. The knife hit the surface of the counter due to your sudden drop.

Sunwoo was in the bedroom. He could definitely hear that.

“Are you okay baby? Did something happened?” His voice was getting nearer and nearer.

if there was something you’re grateful of, it’s by the fact that Sunwoo is very the calmest person. It’s hard for him to react to something unless he saw it as a ‘oh this one really hit my emotions’ kinda stuff. He doesn’t talk much nor nags when something he doesn’t like happens. He just try to solve it out while processing what had happened.

“You’re not mad are you?” You asked. Maybe you don’t really trust your instincts enough. Sunwoo was hard to read by facial expressions. he knew how much you also cared about what he feels. “i’m not but next time please call me to do it instead hm?” He gently cleaned your wound and when you winced in pain Sunwoo stopped for a moment and comforted you. Your heart melted at the sight of his eyes focusing on your minor injury. You don’t think you could think of the cut anymore when Sunwoo’s here.

after he was done, he put things away before turning his attention back to you. His arms wrapped around your waist from behind your back with his chin rested on your shoulder.

“what is my baby making?” He asked.

“tteokbokki. Are you okay with it?”

“mhm.”

he mostly helped you with it which will forever stay as a precious memory together. Laughter and giggles filled the kitchen. and when it was done, the both of you shared a plate to eat (why two when you can use one?). He prefers it that way.

You get tired easily. so when he saw how you silently yawn, he knew it was time to rest. It was getting pretty late. You ended up going to bed while Sunwoo gets things done quickly before joining your sleeping figure. His heart mealy at the sight of it.

“goodnight love. Sleep well.”

TEASER BELOW THE CUT! (APPROX. 400 WORDS)

Luckily for Eric, the movie was more comedic and less touching, so the tissues he had stashed in his pants pocket could be saved for another movie that was much more emotional. Well… that was until after the show, about fifteen minutes after, in fact, that they needed to be used for a completely different purpose. 

“I am so sorry!” Eric squawked in distress, desperately ripping tissues out from their Avengers packaging and shoving them into your hands so you could staunch the stain of dark brown coffee blooming on your cardigan. Patrons of the cafe peered over curiously, then winced and looked away when they saw the mess of coffee spilled onto the floor beneath your chair. 

But for some reason, you were laughing as you blotted the bitter wash out of the cotton as best as you could. 

Eric sent you a frustrated look while he knelt on the floor next to you so he could start dabbing the coffee on your sneakers. “Why are you laughing? I just ruined your entire outfit.”

You sucked in a breath, the remnants of your laugh lingering on your lips. “I’m—pfft—I’m sorry! I actually have no idea why I’m laughing or why I think it’s funny, but it’s totally okay, Eric.”

“The more you say things are okay, the more I think they aren’t,” he groaned. His mouth pressed into a pout as he rose to his feet, swiping his forehead with the back of his hand. In his other hand, he held a crumpled ball of napkins damp with coffee and dirt. 

You realized that your cardigan was beyond saving without some good laundry detergent, and you tossed the Kleenex in your hand onto the table so you could shoulder the garment off. You grinned up at him, “Well, just know I don’t hold a grudge. This could use a wash anyway.”

Eric huffed out a breath of air as he crumpled into the seat across from you again. “I’m so sorry. I don’t know what the matter with me is today, but I swear to god that I don’t make a habit out of screwing up dates.”

You blinked, heart stuttering in your chest. “Huh?”

“—Da—ys out!” He rushed to correct himself. He cupped the back of his neck with a hand, cheekbones flushing to a delicate pink. “Days out! I said ‘days out’!” He nodded to himself, muttering, as if to convince himself of what he just said. He suddenly stood up again. “I’m gonna go ask one of the staff members for a mop."

Holding the hot coffee he just bought, sitting inside his car, under the light coming from the pole, in the middle of the craziness we casually do, i just thought you looked like the most beautiful thing my eyes fell upon.

I stole seconds staring,

He sipped his coffee, battling his heavy lids that unfolds at night, aka my favorite sight.

I watched his full lips that took over the space of his narrow toned face, grabbing the straw.

"It's too bitter"

He said frowning

I smiled in the middle of my gazing

"Really, show me" i said leaning on his coffee taking a sip

I smacked my lips tasting it, he observed

"Isn't this what coffee usually taste like"

He took another sip

"Now that you tasted it it's sweeter" he said cheekily, i chuckled.

He adjusted himself looking at me, then holding my arm as if he's presenting his attention.

"What"

I said smiling

"Nothing, i think your lips look especially good today"

I chuckled again, my heart dancing a little from the compliment,

"Yours too"

He pouted teasingly

"You want them"

"You want me more"

I hit his thigh playfully.

"Come here", he gulped his coffee putting it aside then leaning to hug me.

I wasn't surprised, i just know it when he's about to shower me with affection, he's always keen on holding me, embracing me when so, rather than directly kissing me.

I hugged him back resting my hands down his waist, i felt the side of his face and my nose fell on the crock of his neck

"You're so warm" he said, nuzzling in my neck scarf, his hands falling slowly on my waist, before lifting me to his lap.

I let out a small gasp holding onto him more tightly,

He rested me on his lap, my knees automatically attached

Our eyes met up closely, and i felt unexpectedly burdened, sunwoo seemed to like and endure it well because of how a confident little shit he is, especially when I'm almost squirming under him, that only boasted his ego.

"So.., talk to me about your day"

He said in his most raspiest tone,

I felt the words lock up my throat, and that sweet shyness was getting ahead of me to a whole lock down.

He felt that and rested his head back on the car seat giving me space holding my hand and warming it up in a caress.

"Nothing special.." i finally said

His heavy beautiful eyelids blinking in assurance,

"Except for meeting you" i continued.

He smiled lovingly,

"You? What are you into lately" i said getting more comfortable enjoying his closeness.

"You"

I laughed while he followed

"It was too expected wasn't it" laughing with his precious gummy smile

"What do you think" i answered smiling back at him

In the middle of the little moment he leaned kissing my cheek so randomly then resting unbothered realizing that i technically froze

"Oh.. sorry,...i didn't know your cheeks could possibly get redder"

I hid my face, resting my forehead on his chest

"They're gonna go even more red if you keep talking about them" i said while hearing him laugh pleasantly and patting my side.

I stayed there realizing how I'm not so patient when it comes to him, i felt unfair and vulnerable, he should be feeling the same, why not worse.

His patting reaching to my head

"I love you" he said after a long silence

"I think i love you a lot,.. a little too much"

"Your mere existence makes my heart swell"

I felt his head reaching to capture my face, he couldn't, i was hiding well

"I love you too, ..very much"

I said like i was reciting,

He chuckled

"Can you say that looking in my eyes at least"

"No"

"No?"

"Not now"

He laughed holding me tightly and letting me hide.

"Okay okay, you can do that"

And man how hard it was staying still than talking,

How hard it was sitting still on him.

I only felt his heart beats more, the touching places of our bodies against each other, how my hand was holding on his arm, and how his other arm moved in a loud pace on me both of us felt.

I felt my heart swelling, and my thighs were getting insanely tensed, i prayed not to feel anything under me, i couldn't say i didn't.

i thought there was no way out except in, i let go and relaxed my thighs, and how i know he knew

I lifted my head slowly and he followed my move, i pressed my lips softly on the first skin of his neck, peppering up slowly, shyly, but i guess that's what got him more.

Because that's when he let some pretty sounds slip from his beautiful lips.

"Didn't expect you'd surrender this fast"

He was too bothered he took control holding me up effortlessly waisting no time for an intense kiss.

"Eum, i love you" he said in between deepening the kiss

"I love y.." i responded before i got cutt with sunwoo's drunkening lip pillows, my eyes rolled back at the rush of sweetness, and i can feel him twitching under me, his hands feeling me not so respectfully from the start of my shoulders to the side of my hips, while his tongue played with mine slowly.

Writer's note:

I noticed there's always a silent " what" moment in my sunwoo fanfics, that's bc that little shit of mine knows how to flirt even silently, anyways i love him so so much and i think he will never stop being my man, and his recent selfies are driving me crazy, i also saw that shirtless jaehyun thinking he was sunwoo my heart almost stopped, i think that's what ended up creating this.
