Future Fabrics Expo 2011

The other day I was lucky enough to visit this expo at London College of Fashion. A selection of fabrics made from natural and man-made fibres was on showcase. The expo was organised by The Sustainable Angle, which is a non-profit organisation making and supporting projects that aim to reduce the environmental impact of industry and society. At the expo there was an emphasis on a high quality luxurious materials i.e. lace, wool, linen, tweed. On display there was a demonstration of innovation, quality and at the same commitment to exemplify main sustainability criteria.
