CHARACTERS: Dean x Reader

AUTHOR’S NOTE: A short story but at least I write because I promise myself to write one story a day. I hope you enjoyed :)

DEAN WAS AWAY for three days straight. And for three days, you haven’t contacted him to know what he’s been up to, or if he was safe with Sam. You were worried, of course. He’s your husband. He’s the love of your life. He’s the only person you care about beside your adopted big brother, Hunter. But you know they’re okay because that’s what your guts tell you. Plus, you and Dean have always had that an opposite version of relationship from other couples. So, when he didn’t call, means he’s okay.

But without him, you don’t know what to do. You’re used to being surrounded with friends and Hunter that when you followed Dean to move into Dean’s house he bought in another state, you’re bored. Hunter was five hours away and he also has a family now so now you’re practically on your own. Not having moods to go out, you decided to do housekeeping.

HermioneG + DeanW [part 1]

I cannot tell how much I ship Dean Winchester and Hermione Granger so much! I don’t know why, but I feel like they are going to make a great duo — I meant, couple — rather than she with Ronald Weasly. Hermione, who is gentle ad intelligent yet fierce that makes every guy respect her for who she is [at least, that’s what I feel. If I’m living Harry Potter world, I’d respect her just how much I respect my boss!]. Meanwhile Dean who is fierce and tough is somehow gentle and soft on the inside. He cares for those he loves especially Sam and Castiel.

Just imagine their love story started off with Dean and Sam tracked something unusual in the forest — in a Muggle world, of course. Like, it’s rare magic so they know instantly that they are dealing with a one-of-a-kind witch. I mean, of course, those jinxes, curses and spells are different from the ordinary mantras Muggles use. And there’s no blood drinking or whatnot to get that power.

What happened in the forest was unexplained yet it was nothing risky. Only they figured something fishy in there and they were actually lucky to find about it while they were hunting. At first, they thought the ‘thing’ must have something to do with what they are hunting until they meet Hermione face to face themselves.

The first thing that came up to my mind of how Dean and Sam meet Hermione is when Hermione apparated from somewhere and ended up being right under Sam and Dean’s nose. [Or, to make things a bit funny, Hermione ACTUALLY apparated right on the spot where Dean stood so they were kind of bumping into each other. Dean was very angry, but Hermione quickly apologised. Said that she was in a rush because something was chasing her].

Sam, who is a bit calmer than Dean asked how did she do it [the apparating thing] and Hermione just couldn’t explain, because it was the first thing the Headmaster told her back in Hogwarts that they should not show their magic in front of Muggles. So she decided to ignore them and intended to do ‘Obliviate’ on them, but she failed. That day she was a mess and she ended up jinxing both Sam and Dean to know the truth on why they were also in the forest with her [because the cruciating curse is just so mean]. When she was convinced with the boys’ answers, she told them the truth about who she is and why she’s there too. It was midnight, and they were gathered in front of the fire in a cabin Dean and Sam had rented.

So since then, they became an alliance, although Dean had trust issues with Hermione [everybody knows how Dean was very hard on people he just know]. Even so, Sam caught a few times how Dean would stare at Hermione’s smartass when she come up with a theory that neither Dean nor Sam could have think of. It was hard to see Dean gets attached to someone, but when he sees one, he knows.

The story continues until they linked the problems. On why Hermione’s in Muggle world and why God make them alliances. It was because the ‘thing’ Sam and Dean were hunting was also the thing Hermione was hunting, only with different reasons. Hermione was hunting the ‘thing’ because the ‘thing’ had stolen ‘something’ from Hogwarts. So she’s there to retract that ‘something’ and return it to Hogwarts castle. However, it is different with Sam and Dean. The brothers were hunting the ‘thing’ because there were cases that related to the ‘thing’ and they involve nasty things like murder, people sudden disappearances and more brutal events. The brothers didn’t know about ‘something’ the ‘thing’ had stolen.

Since then, they really teamed up for good.

Ending was kind of sad, I have to say, because Hermione had to go back to Hogwarts and she didn’t know when she will come back to Muggle world even though she could any time. Witches and wizards aren’t suppposed to befriended Muggles because that would mean the Muggle’s life at stake. Dean had tried to convince Hermione that his life was different, unlike other normal Muggles. Hermione believed him because she’d seen how he’s worked on demolishing demons and saving innocent people’s life from dark spirits. Hermione said she’ll try to come back and that she’ll send an owl when she does.

p/s: sorry for grammar mistakes and misspells. i’m kind of lazy to check on them right now. this is a draft and just an idea, though. part 2, [second imagine] will come up next.

Happy New Year!

You and Dean were strangers. That means you didn’t know him neither di he know you. However, in the night of New Year you were destined to stand with him at your side at Times Square for countdown and watch the firework. You have ‘this’ list wishes inside your head that you planned to say it under the blooming fireworks.

To make the story short, it was time they were counting. Everybkdy was excited as they put up their camera to make a video. Some of them were doing Instagram Live Story. The celebrities on the stage were counting along. Finally, the fireworks erupted on the dark sky and you made a wish.

“Dear 2018,” you started as you watched the fireworks with a big smiled on your face. “Meanwhile 2017 had been a bad influence for me, I hope you gonna be good for me. I just wish to save more lives this year because that’s my job; and I wish to have more money to save up for ACDC concert.”

It was loud around you that you didn’t think Dean would hear.

But he did…..

What if there was a story behind Gaston’s snobbish? Behind his demands, ego and darkish behaviour? Sometimes, behind those behaviour that people see as bad have its history and what if we reveal it? (As in alternate universe)

So I have a thought…

Gaston might come in a good family just like Prince Adam. Good as in great clothes, great family members, not being poor as other villagers. He once had (a) good friend/s that he couldn’t live without them. Sometimes, even when we have good family we still need friends, right? So that’s how Gaston’s old life was.

But what if something happened? Why suddenly Gaston being that demanding, snobbish, too confident with himself and has the highest self-esteem out of anyone?

Um, well, tragedy may seem too cliché but isn’t that make the story better? Okay, I’ll try to make a little bit more ineteresting.

1. Maybe having a family that got killed by enemies in the world war is too mainstream. So what if Gaston’s family threw him out or just ignore him because he wanted to be a soldier when his parents didn’t allow him, and his siblings just needed him. To make the story make sense: what if Gaston had a big brother who was killed in a war? And that was why his family didn’t want him to be a soldier and didn’t want to lose another family member? But Gaston was in love with the thought of saving people so he enrolled himself without permission. But even though he survived, he failed to save the his own troops that he couldn’t go back home without feeling sick with himself if he sees the boys’ family.

2. So he travelled. Getting a new home after years of being a hobo. Meeting new friends and get a job that pay handsomely. When he left his family’s home, he had nothing. In other words, he starts from the bottom.

3. What if Belle and Gaston didn’t actually lived in the same village at first? Gaston only moved to Belle’s village when he became ‘rich’ to impress that girl. Gaston has always known Belle because he came to Belle’s village often because he was a trader but one day when Gaston had the money, he moved only because he wanted to be close with Belle.

4. But his behaviour changed when he moved (and that behaviour was his behaviour now). He wanted to be a new man. He didn’t want to be the old me because he thought the old him was boring, too naïve, and just….old. So he thought by being a new person, he could get what he wants and people want him not like how his old life be.

5. Anyway, how about back at the old village, someone has a crush on him? Can’t figure out either his family village or the village before Belle. That someone — a girl ofcourse — knew the good side of Gaston and actually likes him for who he is, but Gaston never realised it. Heck, Gaston never knew her. She was quiet, so….

So far, that’s all I could figure out the twisted version of BATB as in Gaston’s story. Maybe we could name the ‘book’ “Gaston” or something because it tells us about Gaston rather than Belle and Adam. Anyhow, this is just my thoughts. I’m lazy to write so I’m just jotting down my ideas like how I did in the old days.

P/s: sorry for grammar and sentence mistakes. Too lazy to follow rules. (Yeah, by the way, I’m not an English native speaker).

online numbers can really fuck you up when it comes to your creative work because you're sharing something you worked on with all your heart but it's very important to remember there's actual people behind those numbers. even if it's 1. that's one whole actual person. that's a human being who said "haha nice". that's a connection with a REAL person with a REAL life and REAL thoughts and feelings and experiences. like. damn. that should mean something
