Anyhow, I’ve been playing Moonlighter and I’ve been having a blast!  I love dungeon crawlers (this one reminds me of Rune Factory 4?) and I really enjoy the shop mechanic..

My most recent dnd character.  I know I jump around these a lot but hey, campaigns come and go?

So, meet Gale the Bard from the college of swords.  She’s an elf with amnesia mostly because I like the idea of a race so notorious for their ~ancient wisdom~ just get all that worldly knowledge just poofed away.

Also, our DM gets to pick what her past is.  So both and and I are in the same boat of who the fuck she is and why she just...blipped back into existence after magic blipped her out.  I do want to do more serious drawings with her, particularly with some juicy info we got last session.

Yeah, no.  I almost didn’t finish this because hey, who wants to hear ANOTHER artist complain about how sad/guilty/whatever they are for not being productive?  Hell, it’s not even that finished?  Mostly just presentable.  But it’s that thought process that made me push to get it done by tonight.  Or at least a little done.

HEY, I’M TRYING THIS AGAIN THIS YEAR.   HOW ABOUT GETTING TO THE END, YEAH?

Starting off with something simple...I don’t like how it came out.

HOWEVER!  Whether or not I like it, the point of Inktober is to get better with ink.  Let’s see where I am in a month!  (Also if I can take better pictures of the drawings.)

Over the past couple days I’ve been picking at this whole paper-doll costume styling...thing.  I’ve been having a lot of fun!

Decided to go with two characters I’ve been working with most recently:

Kit Alman the (now) Paladin.  I’m re-purposing her for a new game since her last one dropped.  Guess her deity in this one.  AND if you guess which, guess why she’s in gold.  I did a lot of lore research on this one.

Thalia Bartlett the Alchemist.  OH MAN ALCHEMISTS ARE FUN.  I want to draw ALL of her concoctions, bombs included,  She can fly, now.

I might do these with other characters...

YEAH!  Been experiencing an art slump...thing.  So I found a prompt generator and got “an ancient house with magic in its walls”.  That makes for a witch girl essentially ransacking a house for goodies behind the wall panels.  

And here we are.

I’ve been dabbling in different painting styles and ways to color in general.  Still working out the kinks, but I’ve felt a little...I dunno, clunky in my work lately?  I’m trying to fix that.
