subnautica is a flawless game with no bugs whatsoever

this is just the default subnautica experience idk what to tell you man i havent encountered any bugs in below zero 🙏 object permanence is optional for the creatures of 4546b.

i actually encountered more bugs before but i hadnt recorded them, which is why i started recording because i was mad i didn't get the clip of the one time my cyclops decided to launch me out of it through the walls because i decided to stand on the markiplier figurine. i guess it's an avid markiplier fan so it didnt like that

#my pc is Alright #not the greatest but like. it runs most games without issue #also not pictured: the times i got the infinite oxygen bug somehow. that was useful #and the time my friend got the flying prawnsuit bug where she could just walk in the air instead of on land.#ABSOLUTE CINEMA

does anyone know where i can find some Vent Garden Leviathan merch.... there's so much merch of all the other creatures in subnautica except for those guys :')) please am starving.. i love those things and would love to get a plush or figurine or something!!!! aaaaahhh!!!

BIG QUESTION!! THIS DOESNT MAKE SENSE!!!! (SPOILERS FOR SN2)

so the angel combs are from the world tree correct? so theyre native to this planet? but then why do we have an angel comb in the cicada for when we wake up? how does the system already know we need to use it for adaptations, and how was there supposed to be dna of a zezuran rat (but was tampered with and had something else in it).

either there is some major fuckery going on and somehow humanity has already encountered world trees somewhere else or the angel comb was never meant to be inside the ship and someone placed it there?

i've already assumed that noa probably tampered with it so that we can have the dna to survive, but it doesnt answer the question of HOW it got there in the first place.

or maybe the devs messed up and didnt think this through. i dont know, im confused. if someone could please explain? or is this something we just dont understand yet? how can we already have angel combs if they come from the tree, but we've never seemingly interracted with world trees before? because if we did i would assume that they maybe also gave masefield syndrome, so we would have known? am i missing something or is it supposed to not make sense?

some discussions from reddit for anyone interested. i think user Brisngr368 mightve been onto something saying that it might have been something completely different before it got replaced with the angel comb. it makes somewhat the most sense i guess?

one of my favorite things that's happened during my playthrough of Subnautica 2 so far:

this fish, the Marrowbreach, is labelled to be (and upon basic observation, appears to be) very dangerous and aggressive and scary, so a lot of the time spent interacting them is specifically spent avoiding, or trying to escape them. they have a very specific, telegraphed attack where they launch towards the player in a super scary way.

however. i noticed that despite their scary appearance and loud growling noise, they don't actually do much damage when they attack you. and so i thought to myself "am i categorizing this unfamiliar social activity as aggression? am i being reductive towards how this creature actually operates? am i sure it's not just playing with me?"

and i was right.
