i watched candy today and it was genuinely a horrible experience. its two hours long, boring as sin, and any time a male character showed up i just dreaded how they were gonna sexually assault the main character (because yes, basically all male characters not related to her assaulted her). how this made any money at the cinema is a mystery to me. its only saving graces are thats its sometimes stylish and that most of the actors are doing a good job. also theres exactly one good bit right at the start.
