My boyfriend was playing a dnd video on the TV while we were doing other things, and apparently the video creator had got Matt Mercer to say like 2 lines, and the way I was suddenly paying attention 😂 My ears perked up like Ayo?? And my bf didn't even realize it was actually Matt Mercer and not just someone imitating him lmao. But I did. I knew.

Medical update below: (it's neutral)

So I had my last physical exam today and unfortunately it wasn't quite as good as they thought it was based on the MRI. I still have some small "bumps" (which are the lymph nodes) instead of the wall being completely flat like it should be. The surgeon took a biopsy to make sure there's no additional weird cells, but assuming everything comes back like she expects, then I'll have the decision to make by the 17th

Initially I had two options - radiation or surgery - then that increased to three options -radiation, full surgery, or less surgery- and unfortunately the less surgery option is most likely no longer on the table :/

So I'm still like 80℅ sure I don't have to do radiation which was my biggest goal which is great. Buuuuut I think I'm going back to my assumption about full surgery... Which is fine, again I'd already come to terms with that, but still kind of a bummer

Overall, I have 2 weeks to live normally, then I have a LOOONG summer recovering from surgery 😂 It was gonna be that way for either surgery, but ya know

I'm enjoying life while I can before I couchbound for a month

And also the entirety of next week I'll be on vacation with my boyfriends family and I've never been invited to anyone else's family vacation, much less a partner, and also I've only met these people like twice (for a few hours each) and now I'll be living with them for a week.

And especially being around a bunch of new people, I've realized I have no concept of how much detail people actually want to hear about my diagnosis and treatment and stuff 😅 My autism is showing lmao. I'll just ramble off heavy detail and explain tmi stuff and then the other person is just looking at me 💀😂

Back in January of '23, a guy broke into my college dorm. He didn't steal anything, he looking for an *unaware victim.* He entered my roommate's room, but she woke up and he fled. I can give more details if you want, BUT WE JUST FOUND THE BODY CAM FOOTAGE LIKE THREE YEARS LATER SO WE FINALLY GOT TO SEE THE ARREST

As a true crime watcher, being in a true crime video now is INSANE

I don't wanna link the video here publically, since I'm in it, but if any of my mutuals wanna see, it's wild (and I trust y'all 😂). I wanna talk about it, but also I don't just wanna put it out there for the world lol

Thinking about the absolutely canon Preston Garvey cosplayer I saw at the con on Saturday. His outfit was PERFECT, his Lazer Rifle prop, PERFECT. When I asked if I could get a photo, he said "Only if you promise to help another settlement." Stayed in character AND EVEN HIS VOICE?? SOUNDED LIKE PRESTON???? Like I'm not entirely convinced that I didn't just meet the actual Preston Garvey

Alright so the hot topic of MacCready seems to be his his teeth. Love them? Hate them? Doesn’t really matter, cos it’s canon and they’re here to stay.

But why? Between all your companions, why is Mac the only one afflicted with awful dental hygiene? Well, there’s a bunch of reasons as to why Mac’s teeth are the way they are. Let’s explore this.

installment 3 of improved quests for fallout 4 companions: John Hancock.

Yes, he has the Big Dig but that doesn't count. He should have one after gaining him as a companion, unlocked through affinity.

I imagine it would be a quest tied to Goodneighbor.

Like searching for plumbers or electricians or mechanics through word of mouth or happening upon them or searching diamond city/bunker hill/vault 81/convenant. Having to gather supplies like junk or shipments or tools. Having to complete the mission to clear the warehouses obviously.

Then at the end of the mission the next time you visit (even better if it was over time/gradually improved/more stuff added with each visit) the warehouses are transformed into apartments and water pumps or pop up stands were added to the streets or more cool decorations.

He also mentions when you talk to him after he kills Finn that he would miss him come the next supermutant attack.

So maybe clearing out the supermutants nearby could be a part of the task. Maybe you even have to rally a team to do it, recruiting a certain number from possible recruits like Edward or Kleo or Fahrenheit or neighborhood watch or companions.

Maybe if we are going with the securing the area angle, also clearing the area of the raiders/ferals/dogs/gunners and then it slowly cleaning up/they never end up respawning because the area is then maintained/patrolled like outside Diamond City?

If not tied to Goodneighbor, as he does make a point about leaving to improve himself and that's why he leaves as your companion (though I have my own thoughts about this and how I think it's a half truth and a half ploy to see more of the Sole Survivor (this may need to be it's own post)), his quest could be something ghoul related.

Like helping ghouls by spreading pro-ghoul ideals through conversation or helping the Slog improve or starting a pro-ghoul campaign in Diamond City.

Maybe you have to go on a hunt for ghoul doctor/doctor who specializes in ghoul biology (Think Dr. Barrows in fo3, not exactly him though that could be a cool cameo, but someone similar cause there has to be more than one after 210 years) to get them to talk to people/use their knowledge to spread awareness about ghouls and why they go feral and how it's more of a gradual process and there are signs so you don't have to be so afraid.
