Part Two of the Spirit Hunter Azula saga is up!

Months after being relieved of her position as commander of Zuko’s elite guard, Ty Lee finds her calling in organizing fun events all across the Fire Nation. Her goal? To ensure there isn’t another town that would fall victim to yet another one of Sozin’s harmful traditions.

When mysterious terrorist attacks threaten these events, Ty Lee has only one person she can call to help. But Azula has problems of her own too. Between the threat of the Temple Spirit returning to collect her debt and the complications of falling into bed with one of her Fire Warrior friends, Azula might be too preoccupied to be of any aid.

Iroh never once refers to Azula as his niece, while Azula almost always refers to Iroh as her uncle even though she heavily dislikes him. Make of this what you will.

Another fun fact: Iroh often calls Zuko “Prince Zuko,” but only once does he ever call Azula a “Princess.”

“The Crossroads of Destiny”:

Aang: (shocked) You guys know each other! Toph: I met him in the woods once and knocked him down. Then he gave me tea and very good advice. Iroh: May I come in? (Toph nods to him and he enters the room.) Princess Azula is here in Ba Sing Se. Aang: She must have Katara. Iroh: She has captured my nephew as well. Aang: Then we’ll work together to fight Azula, and save Katara and Zuko. Sokka: Woah there. You lost me at, “Zuko”.

Second to the last chapter! It was stressful work month so I am trying to let out all my angst by updating my Azula fic because she is forever my comfort character

Hope you enjoy! I am actively plotting the sequel where more explicit Tyzula stuff happens but this fic lays down the building blocks of how they would evolve as individual characters, especilly with what they learn about themselves and each other here

The only plausible explanation for why Azula not only were capable to move, but also have such big level-up in lightning techniques in the Search to me still remains is that while she was in the straightjacket instead of chi-blocked in the institution, she was producing small amount of electricity through her body to keep muscles from atrophy.

That would also explain why she so easily picked up lightning redirection, by simply seeing it and how it moves through a body.

Ironically, but The Search actually focuses on the moment when she probably learns it, huh, showing how the lightning moves through Zuko's body.

Now, imagine this is being just Azula's pov and how she sees lightning.
