لم أعد أفهم كيف يمكن لعالمٍ واحد أن يحمل هذا القدر من التناقض.

هناك من يعيشون خلف الأسوار كأنهم خُلقوا من ضوءٍ لا يمسّه التعب،

وهناك آخرون يتآكلون ببطءٍ في الظلّ، يلتهمهم الجوعُ والخذلان.

كنتُ أظنّ أنّ المسافة بينهم مجرد طريقٍ يمكن قطعه،

لكنني أدركتُ لاحقاً أنّ المسافة الحقيقية ليست في الخطوات،

بل في ذلك الشرخ العميق الذي حدث داخل الإنسان نفسه…

ذلك الشرخ الذي يجعل بعضنا يملك كل شيء

وبعضنا لا يملك حتى القدرة على الحلم.

وحين تدرك هذا، تفهم أنّ العالم لم يعد مكسوراً…

بل صار معتاداً على كسره.
