More questionable motives from Link.
From History of Hyrule. Please don’t remove the credit, that’s totally rude.
⤧ The growl the dragon issued was vile enough to make one thankful that his helm obscured the majority of his expression.
→ Argorok had been in the process of picking his battered, armor-clad body up out of the snow, one scaly hand clinging to his spear as the other reached beneath his helm in a motion that seemed very much like an attempt to cover his eyes. With the sheer number of betrayals he now found himself contending with—from his body, to his mind, to his own skies—the last thing in the world he wanted to hear was the sound of Hylian drifting towards him through the icy wind.
→ Why, he had half a mind to level the petulant huma—
→ It was then that the rest of the other creature’s words, these ones hushed and low, reached him. This was not a language he knew, not any the Hyruleans had spoken throughout the eras he’d lived among or at odds with them. And now he could tell, by the voice, by the scent, that the speaker (nay, speakers) were indisputably inhuman.
→ The realization had the knight taken aback, caught somewhere between caution and hope. ‶And what,″ he hissed, ‶is Yeto?″
"Me Yeto," the burly creature rumbled in broken Hylian. "This mountain home of Yeto and Yeta." Sniffing at the stranger, the yeti's scales bristled again. The dragon-man smelled off ashes and dark shadows. He stank of the very same sickness that had afflicted his mate.
"Dragonfolk not welcome here." Breath steaming on the air, the male took an aggressive step forward. "Leave or Yeto make you leave."
"Snow-for-brain husband be quiet now," his wife was quick to interject, going to the trouble of speaking in Hylian as the stranger seemed to understand that tongue. Honestly, as quick as her mate was to leap at the throats of strangers...
"We not harm you, stranger," she murmured, brown eyes soft and genuine. "Husband bored in mansion with just Yeta. Even like to fight rocks if they move." Tilting her head to once side, her smile fell. "You hurt!"
