Hello! I've been writing and posting One Piece fanfiction for several years now. Most of my works are OC x canon, though I do occasionally dabble in canon rarepairs and outsider POV works on the side. Here, I mainly collate fandom-related interests and talk about my writing projects.
Generally, my interests in One Piece revolve around the Heart Pirates and the Donquixote Family. I am also working on a lot of independent worldbuilding in Wano for my main fic, loosely drawing inspo from feudal Japanese history -- expanding upon the power system of Ryūō & exploring some of the past politics, fleshing out the rivalries between the five daimyō clans before Kaidō's rise to power.
Outside of OP, I love historical films, folk and classical music, & 19th-20th century fiction, among many other things which you may see reflected in this feed. ^v^

While on the hunt for a hundred hearts, Trafalgar Law and his crew face an unforeseen hurdle. Their targets are going missing one by one, with several turning up mysteriously decapitated. Law's search for answers brings him face to face with Murasaki Arisa, an operative of an elusive yōkai hunting organization.

The Donquixote Family embarks on a campaign as inexplicable as it is barbarous, terrorizing several rural island communities with a series of grisly public slayings. While investigating these killings, an undercover Marine stumbles across a strange young woman looking for her missing child – a woman with a story that doesn't add up and an unspoken connection to the Heavenly Demon.

A neurotic clinical trial coordinator is tasked with coaching a delinquent surgeon on his bedside manner.
It goes about as well as one might expect.
The subtle thing that absolutely melts my heart about Trafalgar Law every time I think about it is the way the humour around his character changes before and during/after Wano.
He has been a very entertaining character since introduction but during Punk Hazard and Dressrosa the gags are always about the things happening to him (reacting to the Strawhats for example). He is never an active participant, more so a crash dummy or, well... a puppet on strings.
And then we meet back up with him in Wano and what is the very first thing he does? Troll Luffy. And then he disguises himself with the stupid bucket hat, he fanboys about his favourite childhood comic, he sits on Sanji, teleports a step in front of Robin, uses Haki to de-feminize himself!
He's no longer just a passive sufferer of whatever fate (Oda) has in store. He's his very own clown.

New project under my non-OC works pseud. This is just a place to post all my random vignettes about Doffy and Gladius... as well as a few of my attempts to portray Doffy's experiences following the events of Dressrosa.
The relationship tags are more a suggestion for most installments, but if I ever write ones that aren't, I'll make note of it at the start of the chapter. ^^
Excerpt from the first oneshot:
They are turning him over. Someone barks in his ear to hold still. A makeshift gag is forced into his mouth and pulled taut between his teeth, dinting deep into the corners of his lips. The old cloth smells filthy and tastes even worse, inducing that impossibly stifling feeling at the back of his throat. Doflamingo almost wishes they went with a blindfold instead.
They are taking him to the harbor down south, where a Navy carrier is docked. There, he will be stripped and processed and secured for transportation. The bowels of Impel Down await him.
This is the future Rosinante so lovingly envisioned for him thirteen years ago.

Just a heads up, I have done a lot of editing since the last update. This includes combining some of the old chapters, in case you are wondering why the overall chapter count has gone down. None of the material is changed, just more condensed. Sorry if that has caused any confusion!
