hi writeblr! my name is bug/ rumi and i've been lurking on tumblr, wattpad, ao3 since i was twelve-ish! i'm twenty-five now so i've spent the better part of my life participating in online writing communities!

i write for fun (and for myself!!!-- this was a hard lesson to learn) and currently have two long-ish projects:

project mango (on hold): immigrant daughter Americana, summer in the suburbs, pizza shop struggles, romance, mommy issues, etc.

project maple (I am actively cranking this out): alternate universe, girlhood, knighthood, girl as knight, girl as squire, fantasy world, romance, uhhh commentary on relationships, naiveté, etc. --> this will be novella length, and I hope to self-publish it because......... idk

i also enjoy writing cute lil stories and prose for zines and literary magazines!! i'm having writing published in a cool little seattle based zine soon-- so i'm probably going to overshare about that heheh

why did i start writing ? : i had a fic idea that i didn't see anywhere so i wrote it myself ... 😭

who do i like writing the most ? : ada wong; i know i've published legit only 1 fic on her but i have sosososo many more in my drafts i love her sm

who do i like writing the least ? : men.

am i taking requests ? : not currently !! i'm fresh out of hiatus, so i'm pouring out all my built up ideas before taking any reqs

do i do emoji anons ? : yes, i do !! (check title page for taken emojis)

do i do fic recs? : not currently, but i might in the future !

why do i write fics the way i do ? : I write fics in a hc-esque format because it's easier for me to keep my posting at a consistent pace (full form fics take time for me to complete) and I find them overall more enjoyable to write !! This doesn't mean I won't write full fics, they're just gonna be rare to see !

who do i write for ? : I write for almost anyone !! Fandoms I'll write the best for are The Pitt, The Bear, TLOU, Resident Evil, Arcane, and COD ! If I don't know the character you're asking for, I'll try to research them and their behavior, and will try to portray them as close to cannon as I can !

what won't i write? : I won't write any x male!reader's because a.) I'm not a man, and b.) men are on my dni list ! I won't write male char. x reader's because I'm a lesbian and the writing process has to be enjoyable for me !

I also won't write dub-con, non-con, water sports, vomit (in a sexual manner)(a character being drunk or sick is fine idc), scat, forced inebriation, incest, major age gap, g!p, or vore !!

Hey, Tumblr! This is a message for fantasy readers—especially the ones craving something a little older, a little queerer, a little realer.

I’m Torrin, a 31-year-old debut author living in the Midwest, and I’ve poured my heart into a romantic fantasy series called The Godhunter Saga. Book one, Dawnfire and Spellweave, is finished (87k words!), and I’m getting ready to query it for traditional publication. It’s the kind of story I always wanted to read but could never quite find. So, obviously, I wrote it myself.

This series is for anyone who’s tired of YA school settings and wants stories about adults navigating messy, magical lives. It’s for readers who crave mutual respect and trust in their romances, who want relatable heroes and villains, and who love stories with older queer characters, chosen family, and themes of questioning faith and authority. Think: slow-burning tension, heartbreaking tenderness, and a little moral ambiguity.

I’ve really enjoying having this little community, you guys are so fun! I am working on a small queue again so expect another small blob of asks out soon.

I’m Acci, and as of writing this I am 25 years old. I’m afab and live in America (qwq)! I go by she/her/they pronouns and identify as demisexual/asexual.

I started writing as a method of relieving stress at work, as I work in a fast paced medical environment. I’ve never done asks or headcanon stuff before, so this is all new territory for me! So far, I really am enjoying this, and most of you have been incredibly kind and respectful (which I appreciate.)

However due to my job and some chronic health issues, my writing amount may teeter from time to time. I wanted to reassure everyone that even when I slow down I will continue to write, it may just take a while.
