Just because you have received the vaccine does NOT mean you can just do whatever you want now and stop wearing a mask and social distancing. The pandemic is still happening.
If the virus continues to spread, we give it more opportunities to mutate and adapt, which could lead to a variant that’s immune to the vaccine, which would mean everything we’ve been doing would be a waste of time. Until enough people get the vaccine and herd immunity is achieved, keep following the rules, wash your hands, social distance, and wear a mask.
Not an art post but coming from someone who's fully vaccinated, I better still be seeing you all wearing your goddamn masks.
YOU may be vaccinated, but not everyone else is. Don't give this virus a chance to mutate and infect more people. Keep wearing that little piece of cloth over your face, its not that hard. Stay safe for a little while longer because I'm sure you'd rather be mildly inconvenienced now with masks and all the hand washing and sanitizing instead of having to go into lockdown all over again.
My sister is a nurse and I can tell you she has seen firsthand the shit that happens with covid. Wear your mask.
Also, speaking as someone who's immediate family is full of chronically ill/disabled and immunocompromised people, if I see you not wearing a mask in public I will start a fight with you so save us both the hassle and wear a mask. (And wear it correctly, over your mouth AND your nose, Karen.)

Don’t forget ColourLovers, either! It’s a social media-esque site where you can browse tons of palettes and share your own.
You can browse the most popular ones or search for certain colors, themes, and even specific hex codes!
When you find one you like, you can download a wallpaper swatch of it and also select the specific colors it uses to look at more palettes that use those same ones.
ColourLovers is my go-to for when I’m having trouble coming up with a color scheme! It’s also been around for over a decade, so there’s plenty to browse through.

hm okay I have feelings about this! mainly: hollywood lies. ya fiction lies. like yes, yes it's great to romanticise your life and hash tag representation is Good but most netflix-esque queer movies are quick cashgrabs and queer teen tearfully comes out and is accepted by their family is low hanging fruit.
in reality coming out to your family is a decision that NEEDS to have a pragmatic aspect. you NEED to weigh the benefits (being more open about yourself) against the very real possible costs (being kicked out/abused/physically hurt). you need to be honest about yourself about how your family will react and if there's even the slightest chance your family will react badly, take that seriously.
secondly, there is no clock. there is no rulebook that you have to "come out" before college. AND IT'S POSSIBLE TO HAVE A HAPPY AND FULFILLING ADULT LIFE WHILE BEING CLOSETED TO YOUR FAMILY! please do not think that if you don't tell your parents your queer by the time you're seventeen and they accept you, you will never be happy. there is so much to life after teenagehood and chances are it'll be far better. do research! read up on experiences of OLDER queers, queer people in your own contexts. this is so important. if your access to your own history is just stuff like love, simon esp. when it's not reflective of your reality, you're doing yourself a disservice and watching things that tell yourself you need to sort all this by age 18 when you DON'T.
and you don't have to rely on fiction. chances are, wherever you are, there are local or national queer rights organisations and activists. go to their websites. read their stories, get their books, maybe even reach out if they're open to talking. THAT is how you can have an actual community.
if your partner is pressuring you to come out, you need to dump that arsehole. queer relationships can be just as abusive and fickle and straight ones, and someone pressuring you into coming out isn't someone "wanting what's best for you", they're ignoring your boundaries.
tl;dr don't let media trick you into thinking you're obligated into telling your parents you're queer when you're a teenager. please very seriously consider the possible consequences, and GUAGE your readiness. research and read experiences of adult queer people so you can internalise life doesn't end at age 25. you are not running out of time.

Its really disheartening to see this trend of fake ticcing going around now. I'm all for being proud of who you are and ticcing without being ashamed if you do have tics, but to the people who don't tic who think its cool to pretend to tic, stop. Whether you mean to or not, you're hurting those of us who do have tics and its a really immature and frankly gross way to get attention. And yes, I have seen videos of people faking tics where they put a trigger warning for tics, and because it kind of got cut off I want to elaborate on my point there. Tics are something we cannot control, and trust me, if I could get rid of some of my tics, I would (I have cracked many joints that don't want to be cracked with my tics). But regardless of what I want, I still have tics and I have to live with it. By putting a trigger warning there, you're telling me and other people with tics that this is something to be ashamed of. That its wrong, unnatural, weird. Let me reiterate, WE DON'T GET TO CONTROL OUR TICS. You're inadvertently (or maybe intentionally, I dont know) shaming us for something out of our control.
My point here is if you dont have tics, don't pretend to have them. Youre only doing more harm to the community of people who do tic.
And yes. I did tic several times while writing this and I've cracked my neck once again. Tics aren't quirky uwu things, sometimes they hurt and I'm tired of people playing it off like "uwu im so cute quirky and ticcy 🥺👉👈". Thats not what tics are like, and by doing that you're erasing the reality that sometimes tics are painful. Now that I've written this whole thing out, I'm going to take me and my sore neck elsewhere.
