There is a silent war. There are no go zones. There are small pockets of tension areas scattered all over the country essentially. We have illegal Bangladeshis being caught in different cities and recently even a Pakistani couple was caught living in the country with fake names and stuff. People don’t realise the kind of mess we’ve been put in.
The opposition was quite giddy when the entire Bangladesh debacle happened and some even went to the extent of saying that something similar can be triggered over here. I just hope our people are smarter than that.
And of course we have those mandatory stone pelting on each Hindu festival because “How dare a kafir enter the ‘area of a believer’ and celebrate his religion? The kafir has incited violence on himself. The kafir is to blame for what happens to him.” the internet always blames the Hindu for his own death. I’ve actually come across some blogs abjectly laughing over the deaths of Hindus. I’ve seen direct denials of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide and exodus. I’ve seem them downplay the voices that are talkin for the Kashmiri hindus. These blogs regularly post in desiblr. They openly wish for the destruction of the Ram temple, they wish death onto us and suffering…it’s like a delusional and hateful cult at this point.
And if you ignore all of this then you are a human being otherwise you are the worst spawn of satan, a fascist, a dictator, a rapist and every other tag in the great dictionary of the left.
They’ve already taken over the academia for decades post independence and they were spinning the narratives for the longest times. The marxist historians were busy in whitewashing the crimes of invaders and foreign tyrants to “preserve religious harmony” while teaching our children to be a passive victim in the culture wars.
The country openly controls our temples and governments after governments either use Hindu sentiments to gain power or woo the other communities and end up taking steps that actively harm the hindu community in the country. Take the waqf board for example, it just laid claim to another temple. Who spearheaded the waqf act of 1954? It was Nehru and his party’s appeasement politics.
It was the same Nehru who pressured the then president Rajendra Prasad not to go to the Pran Pratishta of the Grand Somnath Temple that was reconstructed years after it’s destruction at hands of multiple islamic invaders. He feared “hindu revival”! He wrote as much in his letter!
Heck, Nehru even gave up the permanent UN security council seat that was so readily offered to us. ⬇️
Even at the time of independence, Gandhi propped up Nehru as the president of congress and the eventual prime minister of India at the expense of Sardar Patel who had secured 12 recommendations despite Nehru not securing any.
Our leaders have always acted this way, power and running roughshod over the people is not new to this country. Weren’t it our own people who became the spies, the helpers and the servants of the British raj? Because they couldn’t see beyond their own selfish reasons?
Tell you what, the partition was a waste of life, blood and land. It secured nothing but wars for us. Hindus and Muslims couldn’t live together before 1947 in Pre partition India and Hindus and muslims still cannot live together in 2024’s Independent and so called “secular” India.
In short, they don’t care about us. We are back to the same situation we were in Pre partition India.
At least the Muslim leaders care about Muslims. That’s good I suppose for them. Cannot say the same for Hindus. The muslim ummah is far better at securing and talking about it’s own interests as compared to the Hindus. We are a race of divided interests and divided identities and so we continue to suffer.
