What do people think of AO3 users deliberately changing their story/chapter publication dates every day to keep their stories at the top of the page?

I think it’s blatant abuse of a feature intended for other uses. I asked AO3 support about it, but they said they aren’t going to do anything.

Still, I find it rather distasteful.
