My head.... I thought as my mind drifted between the realm of reality and fantasy. Hand going directly to my raw and pounding temples, I cracked open my eyes to peer into the murky shadows. What had happened? I pulled the hand back to see dried blood marking my fingers with it's triumphant flag. I groaned as the excruciating pain coursed through my body in crushing waves. I felt as if I had been trampled by an overprotective saber-tooth moose lion mother. I wanted to push myself up, but my limbs would not cooperate with my brain. Instead, I let my eyes wander around the room I was in, trying to figure out where I was.........
