Can't be bothered to make a seperate blog for my art, I don't draw very often anyways so theres no point in doing that, I'll just post everything on this blog.

I'm basically just a random guy who likes posting random things from time to time, I don't really care about having a more cohesive blog, so expect me to post about all sorts of stuff.

English is not my first language, so sorry if I mess up anything while writing.

Wish I could post more of my art here, but unfortunately I haven't been able to finish a single proper art piece in a very long time, my most recent post before this one was probably the closest I've gotten to so far.

I'll at least try to post some sketches and doodles I've made, definitely not ideal but it'll be better than nothing.

Also, speaking of posting doodles and sketches, here's a bonus very unfinished and honestly not very good sketch that I just didn't feel like making into a tagged post of it's own or lumping it together with the Meowstic doodle I just posted:

This is one much more in my actual art style than the Meowstic doodle.

But anyways, honestly it's been kinda hard for me to post stuff in here, I've been trying my best but I just haven't been able to do it that much. Doesn't help that I'm not really the best at coming up with things to post about or coming up with good captions for posts, but I'll try my best.

I could not make this up even if I wanted to, brand new save by the way so both are full odds and literally appeared at the same time because this was my first time visiting this area on this save.

Was progressing the tutorial part of ZA so I could finally start my attempt at an Espurr solo run, and I just had completed the first of the mandatory side quests that Emma asks you to do, which was the giving a Pikachu in exchange for a Heracross, so after I finished that one I went to do the one where you fight the Sableye... But you know, I thought it would be a good idea to train up Espurr a bit, so I just kept training him up a bit on some wild zone 4 pokémon, but then what do I see while training my Espurr up? A shiny Ekans, but there was a problem, I heard not one but two shiny sparkle noises, but from shiny hunting on my main save a lot I thought it was probably just the glitch where the shiny noise plays twice... But no I was wrong, there was a shiny Kakuna just outside the wild zone.

I genuinely think I rolled both of these at the same time because that was my first time visiting wild zone 4 in this save, I hate that I dont have proof for this because oh my god I cannot beleive this, and also these are the only possible green shinies you can get in the area I was in, and I got both. Now I have a streak of getting insane luck in both of my Espurr solo runs I've done so far, I somehow managed to get Pokérus on the one I did in Y and now I've managed to get 2 shinies at the same time on this one.

I haven't even caught them yet at the time of writing this post, I think I'll honestly wait to catch them, I don't wanna mess it up somehow. Just wanted to make this post to show this, I'll make a proper post on the actual challenge I'm doing later, I just want to get out of the tutorial part first, then I'll make my first post about what the challenge rules I'm using are and my overall progress so far. I actually don't know if this challenge will even be doable, but I really want to at least try, if I run into a battle I can't win then I might adjust the rules a bit or even change it to a Meowstic solo run depending on how difficult things get.

W.I.P. Calem Mii

The custom Meowstic pet is just a temporary placeholder, I'll make a better version of it later when I'm able to.

Still proud of how the face paint turned out on this one, still have to finish all the custom clothing though which will probably take a while to do.

I have more Miis I want to showcase later, but I'll wait until I at least finish each of their face paints first before making any posts on those. I'll also probably make another post on this Mii when I finally finish all the custom clothing I need to first.

Had this Mii almost ready for a good while now, I was waiting for me to get my hands on the full version of the game before posting it, but I did not expect that it would take me this long to be able to, so I'll do a quick one right now as I've kinda gotten a little too impatient waiting for that to happen. (I'll make a proper post with the appropriate tags and better quality pictures about the Miis I've made later)

Quite proud of how this one turned out, I put a lot of effort into the face paint and I think it really paid off. Took me around at least slightly more than 10 hours over the course of a few days (I have been working on this Mii since the day the demo of the game came out) of work to finally finish the face paint, though the long amount of time was more because I'm just a really slow artist and also because I was still learning how to use the face paint editor.

It was a struggle to get everything to look just right when the game applies the smoothening filter over the face paint outside of the editor, but I think I've managed to get it all to work pretty well in my opinion. Also, I think it's unfortunately slightly off model from the main reference I used but I tried my best at replicating it.

Ignore some of the weird hair shading, had to do it that way because of the 3D part of the actual Mii's hair having its own shadows, it would've looked a bit weird if I hadn't tried to blend in the face paint part of the hair's shading with the actual hair. Wish that the Mii hair I had to choose wasn't a set because things would've been way easier if I could just had removed the bangs off of it.

This is the only mii from the demo I've finished making so far (I'll need to change some non facepaint related details later with this mii, because there is some things I only did for the demo only, but the face paint is basically fully done outside of maybe some minor details that could be improved upon that I'm just feeling too lazy to actually do), I still need to finish the Serena and Shauna Miis I have on my island (The Serena Mii is the closest one to completion, all that's left to do with that one is to finish the shading of the face paint part of the hair), but I'll probably wait for when I have the full game to finish the face paint on those.

I'm already so excited about playing the full game, it looks really fun just from looking at the videos I've seen other people take of the gameplay, though unfortunately I'll still need to wait a bit until I'll able to play the full version. My Miis will need to stay lobotomiized for a little longer.
