The sunlight that peeked through the curtains showered you with warmth, but it paled far in comparison to the amount you felt in Varka's current embrace. Your husband had just returned to Mondstadt from a long expedition, so the first thing he did upon his arrival was come home to his dear wife.
Here you two were, lounging on the couch, his strong arms wrapped around your waist from behind, your back pressed up against his firm, broad chest, and your heads leaning against one another's. With one hand on top of his, your other hand was holding the side of his face, softly caressing his cheek. You have missed one another terribly that you both have been spending the day relishing in each other's presence just like this.
With a tight squeeze at your waist, he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck and deeply inhales your skin, letting out a heavy sigh of relief.
"Mm...I've missed your scent."
He then presses a sweet kiss to that same spot, places another one a little higher, and drags his lips further up your neck to leave one more right behind your ear.
"I've missed kissing you like this"
Feeling his hot breath against the shell of your ear, he takes the opportunity to playfully bite your earlobe. The soft nibbling sensation tickled, causing you to draw back and giggle.
"Oh! How I've missed that sweet laugh of yours", he chuckles heartily.
He pulls you back in closer and gently grabs your chin for you to face him. Your eyes are met with his shining, bright blues, filled only with love, adoration, and tenderness for you, and his smile glowed bright at the sight of his beloved. The amount of radiance he shone in this very moment made it as if he was the sun itself. Who knew that the sun could easily envelop you in a feeling of everlasting warmth and safety just by being wrapped tightly in its rays? Who knew that the sun could then kiss you with such a fiery passion and yearning, each kiss scorching with the need and desire to be closer to you?
Pulling back to catch a breath, he holds the side of your face with one hand as you both lean your foreheads against each other's.
"I've missed you so much, darlin'. I'm sorry to have left you for so long" He leans in closer, and with a firm resolve, he promises, "I love you, y/n, and I always will. For as long as I live, I'll come back to you no matter what. I swear it." He seals that promise with a deep and loving kiss, and proceeds to reaffirm it over and over again with great fervor, not allowing any room for doubt.
Any worries or fears you had before instantly disintegrated. You knew that no matter where the sun may go, whether it was shining radiantly in the clear sky, hidden behind the clouds, or traveling from east to west, Varka's love will always be there, burning for you no matter how far.

My absolute favorite character is definitely Lilia Vanrouge, with Silver Vanrouge a close second. 💚 I love his cheerful and mischievous personality, but he can also get serious when he needs to (Like his interactions with Swing during the Halloween event!) 🦇
In-game, anytime he interacts with other characters, it's bound to be hilarious. I love that he's HUNDREDS of years old and still enjoys the pop-music club and the whole NRC experience. (It always reminds me of a senior citizen going back to college after their retirement 😭)
He and I share a lot of things, like a love for solo travel, rock music, and lackluster cooking skills. One of my favorite parts about his character is that, in his own way, he always takes care of those around him. In his ceremonial robes vignette, he mentions that he's good at singing lullabies that can make a crying baby sleep right away, which I thought was such a sweet detail.
Honestly, there should be a chapter in the Diasomnia manga titled "The many faces of Lilia Vanrouge." He's an ex-war general who had an affair with Malleus' parents, raised Silver, and traveled across twisted wonderland for hundreds of years before the main cast were even born. His portrait is apparently in the history books too!? If there's anything anyone wants to know, Lilia probably knows already or can find out using his UM. (Far Cry Cradle)
He's somehow an elderly father, a retired veteran, he's traveled the world and is knowledgeable about history.. and loves taking care of kids, and simultaneously a teenage girl with dyed pink hair with the gamer tag "Muscle Red" who plays the electric guitar 😭😭
He's such a dad, and I adore him. I'm also a solo traveler, and anytime I go on a trip, I always take my keychain of him with me- I always feel a bit luckier and more comfortable.

My favorite TWST character is Sebek Zigvolt.
And my reasoning for that is
He is very media literate which appears multiple times during the game (my example is during the LITB: Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween event when he's telling Sally about a book he read and what she should do to avoid the fate of the characters of said book)
He very clearly cares about the people around him even if in his own way. It shows most during book 7.
Dedicated kween. If he sets his mind on something he is going to do it!
Just in general incredibly silly and cute.
You can see it in his demeanor that most of his bad behavior comes from how he must've been treated by the people in his land due to being half-fae. He picked up the resentment for humans from his grandfather whom he spent a lot of time with in his youth and still does. It's clear that the toxic and at times trauma ridden views rubbed off on him even if unintentionally. And I really do feel like in a way his dislike towards his father is just his way of wanting to appease his grandfather who also has a strong dislike towards his son-in-law. I don't think he truly dislikes his dad at all and he will eventually grow out of it.
The fandom has been sleeping on him up until book 7 because he wasn't that fleshed out but I'm glad he's getting more recognition now, he really deserves it cuz he's genuinely such a good character.

Hello! I just read about your twst giveaway, and after pondering for 5 minutes whether to write something or not, I decided to do it. Also, I saw you have multiple accounts, I hope I chose the right one!
My favourite twst character is Trey. I love him on many levels, even physical and spiritual, I am writing a fanfiction about him and a oc of mine, my heart beats faster just by thinking about him.
That is why I will talk to you about Cater Diamond. I don't have siblings, my parents didn't move much when I was a kid. But something about Cater speaks to my soul.
Our favourite accessory, the one we wear everyday along with every outfit, is our smile. Our smile is our shield, nothing can hurt us if we hide behind our smile.
Nobody needs to worry about us, because we're smiling! Everything is in order, we are fine, because we are smiling!
That's the easiest weapon to use when things around us are crumbling down, when people shout and fight, when the strings of our heart gets severed. I have just one friend. None of my childhood friendships survived for long, I know when they start that one day I'm bound to lose them. So I smile, I'm not hurt, everything's fine, let's move on.
Both Cater and I are chronically online, we live on the internet, we hide behind the black mirror and we know that we are shielded, nothing is ever truly lost on the web, and we feel safe this way, if people can be lost, pictures online will live forever. You can't be left behind if you walk alone.
I don't know if you read the manga, but there is a panel with Cater, his eyes sad and narrow, that whispers "Thank you.". Heartslabyul is his family, and for once, he finally thinks that maybe, this time, this relationships will last. That panel is carved on my heart.

Hello, Lyneria! My favorite Twisted Wonderland character is Malleus because I find him to be such a mysterious guy who enjoys night walks and seems to need a good friend to talk to, besides his Diasomnia friends. I really enjoy the moments where Malleus and MC spend time together, especially since book 2. It's quite romantic for me.
My favorite event is "Glorious Masquerade: Let the Bell of Solace Ring," when Malleus was so happy to see MC join the trip. During his Vignette card, he even asked MC to dance at the end of his song. The best part was when Malleus found MC to be the only person who wasn’t afraid of him. I wish the other characters weren’t scared of him just because he’s a powerful mage. They could have helped him learn social skills and be more open with his feelings, without people fearing him. If I were writing a story, my Yuusona would teach Malleus about her world and culture and help him feel more comfortable being himself.

Hello! Here is my entry for the Holiday Giveaway. First of all, thank you for hosting such a giveaway ;w; if I get the chance, I would love to have an icon of my OC made by you (Your art is so good pleaseee). Even if I don't get the chance to win, I would love to commission you too someday.
Anyway, I have a few favorite Twst characters but I'm going to talk about Divus Crewel this time as, compared to my other favorites, he's not as popular as they are. It's just so funny to me how, prior to being into Twisted Wonderland, whenever I would play mudae in discord with some friends, I would always end up rolling Crewel.. and I would get him even if I did not know him yet because 1) he's hot and 2) why not?. All I know is that I have Crewel in my roster of mudae husbands. And even if I someone else ends up rolling him, I still end up getting him lol.
I'm fairly new to Twst. In fact, I only celebrated my 1 year anniversary of playing it last December 20th. There are many reasons why I love Crewel. First is because he's.. just really hot lol. Who doesn't love hot anime men, right? I love his fashion style, his black and white color motif, his dyed hair, and his makeup.. it's all just so beautiful to me. Then they made him a dog (animal) lover? Sign me up! I grew up with dogs, and would have been heartbroken if I found Divus hot then find out eventually he hates dogs. It's one of Aniplex and Disney's best decision to ever make, to be honest. And also! He's passionate about his job as a teacher! I love that so much about him, like yeah, he's strict and all, but it's only truly because he wants his pups to learn and grow up to become great mages under his tutelage. He takes his job seriously and he even said to make use of his knowledge in order to learn. (Ugh, I love him)
I have so many more reasons why I love him but I'm stopping here because I would just go on and on and this will never end. Crossing fingers I'd win, but if not, that's also okay! I'm glad I got the chance to yap like this about him lol

my fav is deuce! not only do I find him cute and attractive, I understand his desire to become a better version of himself and never giving up even after the obstacles he encounters (this whole year full of overblots 💔) but mainly I love him because he is imperfect, and he doesn't handle everything sensibly e.g. when he wanted to punch riddle in book 1 before ace beat him to it, though he's actively trying and an absolute gentleman.
(plus that devious smirk in some of his cards 😈)
