RUNS AT AND TACKLEHUGS TO THE GROUND. "TSUUUUUUUUU~!"
She just kind of laid there for a moment, staring up into those soft brown eyes. She just silently studied Kōta for a millisecond or two, shocked and surprised at his reaction. He was heavier than she’d expected him to be. Her build over him always had occurred to her but never had any bearing on their relationship. In fact, a lot of things never really affected her feelings toward him. All she knew was that he’d always been kind and pleasant to her.Didn’t stop him weighing her down.“Kōta... can you...?””
He smiles to her gently. "It feels like I haven't seen you in a while.. Tsuki."
She’d lean into him, placing her fingertips against his cheek. He was right... it had been far too long since she’d seen him. Touched him. Kissed him.
Need to do something about that.
Leaning in, she softly gave him a chaste kiss “I’m sorry.” She couldn’t help but smile, though. He’d remembered.
Hands you paperwork instead of a meme. Work comes first B(
Looks shocked, nay offended, that he would be so presumptuous as to hand her paperwork when she’s done all of hers already. However the look quickly changes as she doesn’t wish to disrespect her commanding officer.Taking the papers from him, she bows and begins to thumb through them “Let me guess, taichou... Matsumoto-fukutaichou’s disappeared again?”
izuru-ru:
“My modesty?” he mocked, kicking around his slippers until they were facing the right direction for him to slide his pale feet into them. “What brings you by?”
“What, like I need a reason to come see you now?” She huffed a little, mock-offended at his question. Then she remembered it had been a while since she’d dropped by unnanounced “I missed you and I wanted to make sure you were okay. Last I saw you you weren’t doing fantastic. Is that a good enough reason?”
izuru-ru:
“The fuck you aren’t!” he yelled, grabbing for a stray yukata. He really needed to clean…Pouting at the sound of her attempt to hide her laughter, he came out from behind the plant once safely covered. “Did you see anything?”
Pressing her fingers against the door, sheopened it slowly, rapping with her other hand as she gently leaned round to see an incredibly flushed Izuru hastily wrapping himself in a floral yukata. She shrugged and smiled “Not as much as you’d think, but that’s covering your... *ahem*... modesty just fine.”

His working having long since been done for the day, the third seat had decided to pull out his guitar and had been practicing for a few hours now. Looking over his music he groaned, “Son of a bitch.. its still not sounding right…” Taking a sip of water he began playing again as he began to softly sing lyrics to accompany the tune he was playing.
“She had fire in her soul it was easy to see, How the devil himself could be pulled out of me
There were drums in the air as she started to dance, Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands.”
Finally happy with that section, he set his guitar down stood up and stretched. Wanting to get a bit of fresh air, he walking out onto the balcony completely caught off guard to the fact that Tsuki was out there “Oh i um… i didn’t disturb you did i?” The words spilling quickly from his slack jawed mouth. Terribly embarrassed, an awkward chuckle escaped the beleaguered third seat as he ran his hand through his raven strands.
A warm smile passed her lips as she slowly shook her head “Not in the slightest, Kyoren. It’s just it’s not very often that I see a guitar around here.” She shrugged the blanket up onto her shoulders and leaned against the upright, looking down and tracing circles in the wood with her bare feet “It’s been a long time since I heard music like that. Some might say it was another lifetime ago. Where did you learn it?”
She’d look up at him and smile as his fingers smoothed his hair. Her new third seat wasn’t unattractive, but then he wasn’t attractive in the conventional sense either. Just... there was something that intrigued her about him. He’d seemingly come from nowhere and slipped into the vacant officer’s spot, trying his best to accommodate the whims of the higher echelons of the Juubantai’s command. And for someone who’d felt so displaced lately, it really counted for something for her. She nodded down at the guitar where it stood “Nice instrument, too. Don’t let me stop you from playing... You’re pretty good.”
Comes with extra-strong tea because he's a little hungover and hey maybe she is as well. "Hey."
She’d slide her door open, grumbling as her fingers ruffled her hair. She blinked at the early morning sun; whilst she’d not been expecting visitors, she’d definitely not been expecting a particularly dishevelled looking Izuru to turn on her doorstep.
He’s been drinking again.
She’d push her kimono up over her shoulder, covering up the little bit of porcelain skin she’d inadvertently been exposing to him, which caused him to be looking anywhere but at her face. Most times she’d ask people if they’d seen something they liked, but she knew better than to toy with Izuru’s delicate disposition. Especially this early in the morning when she’d not fully awoken.
Following that blushing gaze she’d see a small box clasped between his hands which revealed his intent. She couldn’t help but feel a little bit humbled that he’d come to see her, even if his intention was just to have someone to share his hangover with. Leaning forward, she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek
“C’mon... I’ll boil some water. You look like you need a chat and a cup of that.”
"Hey, Darlin'. You feelin' better after that thrashing I gave you?" A head tilt would ensue that familiar grin.
She’d look up directly into Rayan’s eyes and give a scowl. It was one thing to know she’d been laid low by the pinkette, But the fact that she insisted on still taking liberties and treating her as less than an equal just irked her. Even if she had been quite tender in making sure Tsuki had been alright following their sparring match.“Call me darlin’ one more time and you’ll know what a real thrashing is...”
Wrong number text meme: Why must there be attractive women on both sides of me in rank? Why??
[Text] [KYOREN] : See, I feel like I want to make a joke of having an attractive guy on top of me but I’m not there to see you blush. Also, check your numbers.
"What did you think of those Quincy uniforms? I personally thought they were quite fetching..."
“I’ve got to admit, Keiko, there were a few among the Vandenreich who did look somewhat fetching. And doesn’t it get boring wearing black all the time?”However we really shouldn’t be talking about this after all they did try to murder us all.

Evenings were often a quiet time around the Juubantai’s barracks. Most of the lower-seated officers were rotating through the canteen, some were still diligently at work in the command block, but Tsuki had elected to put her reports aside for the day and spend the early part of the evening resting.
Curled up on her sofa, she thumbed the next page of her book over, pulling her feet up under her as she shifted slightly, tucking the blanket up under her calves. She was reading a trashy romance novel she’d been trying to get through for the best part of a week, wondering quite how people read these regularly. Sure, it was entertaining, but it wasn’t a patch on the fantasy novels she enjoyed reading so much.
All of a sudden, her ear pricked up at the sound of a guitar chord drifting through the still air, followed by another, then another. Finding the direction of the tune, it seemed to be coming from the room next to hers. Kyoren. The Juubantai’s new third seat had kept himself to himself since joining the division, but apparently had been hiding a talent. Slipping from her seat, she draped the blanket around her shoulders and stepped barefoot out on to the balcony which ran in front of their quarters. His door was open, the raven-haired man sat with his back to her, an acoustic guitar in his lap as his fingers lazily strummed the instrument, leaving her leaning against the balustrade, just listening to him play.

Intently, is he observing her movements; the way she’s carefully settling her writing utensil aside. The way she elevates herself from her chair without any sort of discourtesy. Well - cultivated and wholly punctual this woman has always been. ——- Unquestionably one of his most prominent of subordinates … Also one of his most peculiars. In place of leaving and bestowing him frivolous gifts, she’d be more serviceable in presenting her utmost gratitude b y quietly continuing her diligent performance. “ —- I see “ An impartial response absconds through pallid lips whilst the captain’s lanky frame is lightly pressed ‘gainst the framing materials of her entrance door, an implication that he was not in the need of a place to perch.
In truth, he’s been sitting at his desk for hourly periods of time as it was which is one of the most driven reasonings he’s currently not within the confinements of his tranquil abode. Legs demanded to be stretched as his lungs had craved for the taste of unspoiled oxygen. Hence, he will stand. – White - tinged brows furrow upon her unexpectant inquiry. What could she possibly want to discuss about now, he wondered. If it wasn’t some mundane complaints, it was certainly another mundane quandary. How irritating. “ —– If that is the case, then cease wasting my time and quickly address to me what it is you have to say. “ There were additional locations he had intended to attend to before he stations himself once again into solitude.
Were it anyone but him, she’d probably have called them out on the flippancy of his response. As it happened, in the time she’d served with Hitsugaya, his attitude was just something she’d come to accept. There was no malice of forethought, no mean intent, it was just how he was. Clipped, and straight to the point. She’d offer him a seat opposite her as she settled onto the sofa, leaning forward and clasping her hands together “Sir, something’s been bothering me since my return to duty...”
Well, here goes nothing.
“What... what did you tell everyone was the reason for my absence? I was gone for nearly a year, and nobody seems to have questioned it. Or me... It’s almost as if they didn’t even notice.”

Again, he isn’t angered (well, he might get a little angry at the thought of Izuru so easily turning against Rangiku, after all the two have shared together), just seeking understanding. So he is patient with Tsuki in her current state, letting her pull him where she will — whatever will help her feel comfortable enough to explain what she had meant. He doesn’t know how comfortable his lap actually is, since there isn’t much natural cushioning, but at least his hakama soften the effect of his bony legs.
When she finally speaks further, he listens intently. So, Izuru had been down, perhaps dangerously so (he can’t blame him for that), and Tsuki had shepherded him to her quarters to prevent something worse from happening? A fair enough explanation, to be sure — and he is relieved at her insistence that nothing intimate took place between them. “I believe you,” he confirms, taking the opportunity to wrap his own arms around her, cradle her all the more in this position. “Please don’t worry about that. I…” Ah, so she, too, doesn’t know where they are? Maybe that should be cleared up. But, will she even remember the conversation tomorrow? …Well, if not, he’ll repeat himself. That’s okay.
“Tsuki… I don’t care what anyone else might say about you. They haven’t walked a league in your shoes. I’ve had to walk under the burden of my share of gossip, so… I understand what that’s like.” One of his hands has begun rubbing the small of her back. Even if the glaze of alcohol in her eyes, she is… very beautiful. He can’t take advantage of her, especially not emotionally. “You aren’t going to fuck us up. I care deeply for you, and I just want you to be happy. Whether that’s with me or with anybody else, that doesn’t matter.” He’s accustomed enough to being a stepping stone for healthier relationships — an appetizer, as it were. “Hell, if it’s different night to night, that’s okay, too. Just know you’ll always have a safe place here… okay?”
Safe.
That was a word she’d not been offered in a very long time. Sure she discussed safewords and the like with an almost flippancy, even with him, but to have someone offer her safety from a world she struggled to understand on occasion was a comfort she’d not felt she’d deserved in some time.
She’d blink slowly, giving him a smile as she just lay there listening to his words, taking them in. To find someone who truly understood her the way he seemed to was... refreshing. She’d heard the stories people had made up about her - and the names she’d been called when people thought she was out of earshot.
“It’s nice to... speak to someone who understands, Shuuhei. Is’a physical closeness I need to feel with people. But at the same time I know sometimes emotions can muddle it up, confuse it. But I love all my partners, in their own way.” She’d sigh contentedly, her fingers continuing to touch his face, just to feel him watching her “And you’ll always be loved. That’s our problem; we love too much. Might as well find some happiness with those who understand, hm?”

kenpxchi :
“i am a proud parent.”
He states this very matter-of-factly, confused as to how she didn’t know that Yachiru was his adopted daughter, despite being the manifestation of his Zanpakutō. Kenpachi had treated her like she was his own child ever since they met, and she admired him like a father, so both of them considered his relationship with Yachiru to be parental in nature.
“i mean, that’s my daughter leadin’ the women’s association, an’ she’s just a little kid.”
She’s surprised by his response. After all, even to the casual observer he could see the bond between the two seemed to transcend that of just commander and subordinate. The fact he referred to her as his daughter was both surprising and heartening; after all, for one who was so famed for his feral nature, to see a side which seemed so genteel was actually somewhat comforting. “Kind of makes you wonder what she’s going to be like when we’re not here, hmm?”
