Makane tried to aproach her “sister”, trying her best to comfort her.

"I-It’s ok Mad-Madoka chan…Homur-Homura chan is at pe-peace at least" She said doing her best to reassure the other girl.

Madoka practically tackled Makane into an embrace, clinging to the other girl tightly. "Sh-She…" The rosette sobbed into Makane’s shoulder, unable to continue speaking. "Homura-chan…"

Makane stroked her "sister's" hair trying to calm her down, she was always wary of Homura, but she understood what she was going through.

"Ho-Homura ch-chan is...is ..." She wasn't quite sure what to say.

"Is resting...she di-did a lot of thi-things fo-for you an-and she's resting now." She said with heavyness.

Aigis nodded her head, she knew what a soul was, it was odd to think the girl’s soul was inside that little gem instead of inside her body where it belonged.

She knelt down to stay at eye level with the girl before speaking up, “I think I understand….but how is it that your soul got put in there and how did other girls become like that creature we just fought?” Her blue eyes shown with genuine concern and she looked to the other girl. Aigis was hoping if she found out more maybe she’d be able to help somehow.

She fiddled with the gem for a while before answering, explaining the details of the magical girl system and the incubators, how they got a wish  in turn for fighting the witches, and how the system worked to either kill them or turn them into the monsters themselves.

"I-I’m a bb-bit of an exception though…" She said scratching her eyebrow.

"I-I wasn-wasn’t really born or an-anything like th-that, I wasn’t human anyway so-so it’s not like I lost that much…"

That was a lot to take in and honestly it sounded terrible the system these girls got tricked into but from what she said it was doubtful Aigis could do anything to stop it.

"Not human?" Aigis tilted her head to the side. She could relate…however from what he sensors told her, this girl was human or at least she wasn’t inorganic like Aigis was.

Makane took a deep sigh and looked at her new friend.

"I-I wa-was made from a witch...in-in case someone died-th-th-they had a bac-backup." She said taking her sleeve to her face and wiping away a tear.

"I-In th-the end I-I wasn't needed s-so they tossed me out...I sp-spent sometime out,ii-in in the streets, un-until som-someone nicer than I-I Ddd-desevre took me in."

She said covering her mouth while the small dog pawed at her.

Makane looked at her friend and gave her the best smile she could.

"I gu-guess so…so if yo-you’re a hero…am I your sidekick?" She said as she stood up and fiddled with her hat.

"Sidekick? Nah," Sayaka made a dismissive gesture, tilting her head with a bright grin.

"We’re more like… a superhero duo, don’t ya think?"

"Ww-we are?" She said approaching her friend doing her best to stand up straight.

"W-Well let's go then!" She said tossing her hands in the air and making a dramatic gesture.

"So-sorry I was watching tv with tatsuya this morning." she said shyly.

Makane dug her hands into her pockets rummaging through them for a while, finally pulling out a small mouse holding onto a box.

"Nagisa let go!" She said as she pulled the plush away from it.

"F-For you Kyoko!" She said as she bowed and showed her a small box of pockies.

Kyouko gave the tinier girl a fond grin, taking the box from her.

"I was running a bit low on my supply," she said, pocketing the box. "Thanks."

Makane approached her before stopping herself infront of her, blushing slightly.

"I-I...I'm glad yo-you liked it Kyoko Sama..." She said playing with the small white mice who was now on her shoulder.

"Inside it…?" Aigis frowned, trying to understand what that meant, after all she didn’t appear to be stuck inside it she was there talking to her right now, right..? "What do you mean by becoming one of those ‘things’ what thing are you speaking of?"

"M-My so-soul is…Yo-You know what a soul is?"

She sighed deeply and ran her hands through her hair.

"I-I’, so-sorry I…" She sat down on the street, taking a deep breath.

"Tho-Those things have our souls in them…an-and tha-that monster we fought…used to be a gg-girl like me…" She said hugging her pup, which licked her face in return.

"I-I ha-had no choice…"

"Just tell Aki-lovely who to dedicate the autograph to?" She quizzed, trying to get this girls name. Maybe if she had her name, she could find a bit out about the girl

Makane jumped up and down happily with a huge grin on her face.

"T-to Mma-Makane Kaname" She said doing her best not to stutter as much as she usually did.

"I rr-really thiink you're pretty Mi-Miss Aoi!" She said shy-shyly and covering her face with her bangs.

"I-I thi-thinking...nnevermind..."

A bit surprised by the unexpected contact, Kyouko grunted a bit, face reddening just slightly in embarrassment, responding with a small ruffle of the hair.

"Hey," she greeted back, a toothy grin growing a bit, as she watched the other.

Kneeling over to remain at eye level with the other, she scratched the back of her head sheepishly.

"Whenever I get scared, I just remind myself that I’m kind of like a hero to this city," she admitted, chuckling quietly. "That makes it less scary, y’know? To me, at least."

Aigis tilted her head and frowned, to keep herself alive? Those words both confused and worried the android. “….I am sorry if this is too invasive but how does doing that keep you alive?” Humans usually just needed to eat, sleep, and drink to survive…nothing about cleaning gems, at least not she knew of.

After asking that she noticed the plush canine looking to her and she bent down to give it a pat on the head.

The small pup wagged her tail happily and ran back to Makane, jumping to her arms.

"I…don’t…" She sighed.

"I…the soul gem, it keeps me alive…or I’m in it I think." She sat down while she stroked the pup’s head.

"I need to cl-clean it or I’ll becom-become one of those things…again…"

Makane stopped her grocery shopping when she saw her, an idol in the same store as her? She couldn’t believe it and ran towards her.

"H-H-Hello?" She said as she tapped the girl in the shoulder.
