While 90% of the time my reblogs are PG13, I will rarely reblog more adult language/themed content, such as jokes and discussions, or suggestive art. Nothing fully NSFW, besides the last tag mentioned, gets reblogged as that isn't my cup of tea.

I feel like the take that "Princess Bubblegum started out as a fairly shallow and uninteresting character, but then got more complex and morally grey as the show went on" kind of disregards the fact that in her very first episode she creates a zombie apocalypse through recklessness and hubris (but also ultimately good intentions), and makes a twelve-year-old boy lie about it to everyone else in the kingdom. Like, I don't know, she's always been pretty complex and morally gray if you've been paying attention, at least in my opinion.
the whole "insulting someone based on their appearance is bad because it could indirectly hurt people you like who share that feature" is a good start for unlearning body shaming but i do think we need to go further and remind people that even if there was some physical trait that was magically 10000% exclusive to conservatives and creeps and nobody else ever had it, we still shouldnt be insulting them based on that. because the problem with them is not their appearance its their ideology and actions. by insulting their appearance you arent just indirectly insulting others who look like that, youre literally not making the correct point. stay on topic ya know.

to be clear games really ought to be around 20 gigs or less. but I think in the spirit of generosity and mercy we won't criminally prosecute the developers until the file sizes breaks 50
just looked it up. holy fuck. they did it by de-duplicating assets. I'm just. my jaw is on the floor. supposedly duplicating assets helps load times on HDDs but. holy fuck at what cost
it's worse than that: The Helldivers devs were told that duplicating assets would help HDD load times, but then they actually tested it and it had basically zero effect on load times!
So they had more than sextupled the size of their game by following industry standard practice that actually did basically nothing!
