When you open your eyes to how much the media reinforces hairlessness as a standard for women, you can never shut them again. And whilst there is a level of empowerment to realising it’s all a load of bullshit and your body hair is actively protecting and defending, it’s also incredibly lonely, frustrating, and demoralising.

on aborting disabled fetuses: what if a fetus is symbolically more important than a woman’s actual life and desires? does she not then have a duty to give birth to it? can women even be trusted with the authority of deciding who is given life and who is not? <- this is always the real question underlying the abortion “debate” and arguing in support of the affirmative is existentially terrifying to men. male sophistry is responsible for disguising female autonomy as a form of eugenics, which of course no decent progressive woman would ever want to support. so women hem and haw and concede more rhetorical ground over our human right to determine what happens to our own bodies all while our legal right to do so is taken away from us. this is how men criminalize our physical sovereignty. “some abortions are eugenics” is not a good faith argument. don’t debate women’s rights on men’s dishonest terms.
“our surrogate” you mean the mother? the impoverished mother you paid to grow a baby you could take? you mean the mom whose baby you bought? who can’t afford to keep her baby she just created with her own body? okie dokie
