To think… her last memories of home included procrastinating on preparing for her final trials by insisting on babysitting her infant cousin, Kal-El. And what were her finals trials for? To bare the family crest, the House of El, and to take on the noble responsibilities that come with it. Only after graduation would she be able to wear it.
Except when she wakes up, there is a blizzard. And there hasn’t been snow on Krypton in ages. Her senses go crazy. She can see and hear things from far away. She can fly. She can hurt other people and things easily and just as well survive attacks.
She is also wearing the red and blue suit she still needed to pass the trials for. The man that confronts her, also wearing the same suit, did not have to do the trials. He turns out to be Kal-El, all grown up now. Or Superman, as the humans here look up to him as. As it turns out, those trials she anticipated are long gone and so is Krypton.
Her new set of trials now involve adjusting to Earth, being “Super”, and dealing with a kind of grief and anger not many she meets can understand. And while it may take a while for Earth to feel like home, for now, she will help lead it to a better tomorrow.

Kara is insanely powerful. She must be weak to something. Just to name a few things that could render her weak or not-so-super:
Kryptonite. Magic. And of course, Krypton. She can become easily upset or fooled on the topic of her beloved home.
