The time has finally come! My Once Upon a Time Pin Collection is available for preorder! There are few things in this world that bring me more joy than getting lost in one of my favorite stories. Pin design does come close. So it only made sense for me to combine the two. I’ve spent over 40 hours working on this set of eight new pins that I hope will be just the start of this collection. I cannot tell you how much I love these designs. My goal was to look at each princess or heroine and her story and to design a pin that told as much of her story as I could. I tried to pick out the characters, places, and iconic elements of each story so that when you look at one of these pins, you can instantly connect to the tale. I hope that these designs make you as happy as the stories they’re based on do. All of these pins are now available for preorder to help cover at least some of the upfront costs. It would mean the world to me if you chose to order one or more of these pins to help me be able to make them a reality. By preordering, you not only help bring the pins to life, but you also get them at a discount and get some extra goodies. politics below the cut because I can’t say what I think anywhere else and I’m about to f-ing explode

i’ve just got a few things i need to say and i know i’m not going to be able to tie them together so bullet points it is

i am so fucking sick of being told that because i’m pro life, all i (and other Christians) care about is making sure the child is born, not their quality of life. that’s bullshit! I’ve seen multiple studies that show that Christians are up to twice as likely to foster and adopt than non Christians. That does not even take into account the organizations like Safe Families who work with families in crisis to keep children from ever entering the foster system. We care. we may not always act perfectly but nobody is perfect all the time. we care and it shows.

i’m also tired of being told that because i lean right, i am filled with hate for anyone that doesn’t agree with me. sure i’ve seen some trump supporters cut people out of their lives and destroy relationships with people who don’t agree with them. but i have seen so many more people who align with the democrats (who supposedly preach tolerance and acceptance) spew hatred at people they don’t even know and completely tear apart relationships with those they know on the right. i know someone who went out this weekend and joined a trump supporters parade. all they were doing was driving around town with a flag that says they support trump. but you know what the democrats of my city did in reply? they threw rocks and bricks as cars, ran cars off the road, and pointed guns at people in the parade. that’s what. the people in the parade were not threatening anyone in anyway whatsoever but their lives were threatened for simply letting people know who they support for president.

i keep being told that republicans are the party of hate. but i’ve also been told by people i follow on instagram that they don’t even want republicans to follow them simply because of who they support for president. 

I keep hearing that this is “trumps America” that is full of rioting etc. but the only people I see threatening to riot etc are on the left.

I’m tired of hearing people complain about everything that has happened since early voting started and how that’s not fair. That’s why we didn’t have early voting for most of our history. But also, nobody was forced to vote early. This is why so many people refuse to vote early. If you ask me, we should follow the model of so many other countries and have no early voting and establish a national holiday for election day so that there are no excuses for people to not vote. The countries that do this have a much higher turnout number than we do.

On that note, if you haven’t voted/aren’t planning to vote on election day, you have no right to complain as far as I’m concerned. If you’re an American citizen, there are very few reasons you would not be able to vote legally. And yet our voter turnout numbers are usually so low compared to the number of eligible and even registered voters. That’s ridiculous! But if you’re not doing the one thing that is so easy to do, that you are so blessed to have the right to do, you have no grounds to complain about all the changes you want because you didn’t do your job to make them happen.

no i do not like president trump. i cannot stand him as a person. i HATE the way he goes about just about everything he does. but i know that i cannot support the left and the path they want to take america down. they are veering so close to socialism and it scares me. i want to vote third party but i know that is a wasted vote with the way our country is right now. i don’t want to vote for trump but i know that if he loses, we’re in for some serious trouble.
