he’s the type to try his best and keep his karate life separate from his personal life. this can be difficult though if he has an s/o also interested in karate
if that’s the case he’d prefer to train you outside of his dojo because he knows how ruthless and intense it can be. just because he can handle it doesn’t mean that he thinks you should
that being said he DOES think that his s/o should know how to defend themselves because there may be a time where he isn’t around. he’d never forgive himself for letting someone hurt you
Kwon is a total loose cannon and he can’t keep his mouth shut to save his life. if he notices someone being too friendly with you or trying to pick a fight, he won’t hold himself back
in a sense that’s his way of showing PDA, because he tries his best to avoid that. when you’re in public he needs to be alert, and that isn’t possible when he’s absorbed with his s/o
that doesn’t mean that he won’t let the occasional cheek kiss slip, or in a fit of jealousy he won’t put his arm around you. he can’t resist you completely, and quite honestly he doesn’t want to
just because his senseis believe that emotions make a person weak, that doesn’t mean that he’s adopted the same ideals. he thinks that his emotions make him stronger when it comes to you
there is not a fight he wouldn’t win or a person he wouldn’t challenge if it meant protecting his s/o. he knows what he’s capable of and he isn’t shy about tapping into that merciless nature
often times Kwon will do acts of service without realizing that he’s being affectionate. if you get cold he’ll give you his jacket without thinking, and then he’ll get confused as to why you’re so giddy about it
he would never admit it in a million years, but he LOVES when his s/o kisses his knuckles. with how hard he trains and how often he fights, those knuckles have been through a lot of shit and he likes that they can be given love as well
