Purépechas
The purépechas, were erroneously called tarascos also, this means brother-in- law, they’re a village who lived in the nord west of the Mexican state, Michoacán, mainly in the town of pátzcuaro and Uruapan. In the prehispanic age, this village occupied most of Michoacán state, but they also occupied some of the inferior valleys of Guanajuato and Jalisco. Celaya, Ácambaro and Yurirapúndaro were also in the purépecha territory. Talking about the religion, well, I can say that the purépecha religion was polytheistic, this means that they had multiple gods, it was based around a universe that had three parts, these are, the heaven, earth and underworld. There were three supreme gods, who were idolized Norge than any other, The most important was Curicaveri, this is the god of war and the sun. Some of the offerings they made to this god were auto sacrifices. His dominion was the heaven, it was associated with eagles, hawks, and other birds. Cuerauáperi was a goddess, wife of the sun’s god, Curicaveri, she was a creating goddess, she was the Mother Earth, which controlled the life and rain, the dead and drought. The most important descendent of this goddess, was Xaratanga, she was the goddess of the sea and the moon. Her dominion was the Pacific Ocean and Se was simbolized as an owl, an old woman or a coyote. It also existed the goddess of the bad, she was Auicamine. So as other mesoamerican cultures, the purépecha one participated in human sacrifices, but it was in lesser extent than his enemies, the Aztecs. Personally I love this culture, I think it is wonderful and one of the most complete cultures, I’m also impressed that they had that kind of religion because they were very similar to the Catholic one and it is also better than catholic in some ways because, for example, they weren’t afraid of the dead ones, the underworld was for the dead ones and there were no hell or heaven like now, what they referred to heaven was something else and I think that was a good way of living. I live purépechas. So long, Karla Isabel.
Karla, the Beatles are definitely one of the greatest bands in music history! Another thing is that there are people who do not think much of them, just as we might not think much of music genres that other people love and think the world of. Tolerance needs to go on both sides. It is normal to...
Sorry i haven't replied, I didn't know how to, I'd definitely choose "I'm a looser" or "the fool on the hill"
The Beatles
I wanted to talk about this amazing band because i needed to share my addiction to them, and I had no idea what to talk about. They are considered as the greatest band of all time, but there are some people that, believe it or not, say they don’t like them and one of them is a friend of mine. She says that she can’t find what’s is that amazing about them and she also says that their lyrics are dumb and have no sense, that obviously made me upset cause I immediately thought of the songs “In my life” “here comes the sun” and “all my loving” … “And I love her”… I could keep going… These are songs that have touched millions of hearts and I find them beautiful and inspiring, it’s unbelievable that someone can say they have no sense and more unbelievable that she or he says that’s its only the fame they had because they were no good enough. I was really angry about that but I didn’t say anything, I just came home and started listening to them, I knew which song it was since the first note, “I feel fine”, I don’t know how but they have always had the power of making me feel fine, as the song says, this music makes me happy no matter what and just want to share this feeling with everybody, and most people enjoy their music as much as me but then there’s this people who doesn’t like them and I just don’t know what to do… Anyways I don’t understand them but I will always love them (I mean The Beatles, not that people who doesn’t like them)…. Always and forever 😁😍 Ciao!
Hello...
Well… I guess i can’t postpone this anymore… And I think I should start saying something about me so you can get to know me better… My name is Karla and I love books, I love that feeling you get when you are so immersed in some story that you can feel everything the character feels, like it was you who’s experiencing all that adventures, I also love movies, I could spend the hole day in my pajamas, laying on the bed watching Adam Sandler, Robin Williams (RIP) and all kind of comedians, and sometimes I’m ashamed of this but I love food, eating makes me happy, don’t laugh at me, my favorite food is Italian and chocolate is my favorite snack… In what refers to music I like almost everything, except for “corridos” and that stuff, I love The Killers, The Beatles, The Doors, Mcfly, etc. Well, this is what I think you should know, I hope I’m not missing anything and I will post something in the afternoon, I swear, it’s just that… I don’t know what to talk about :/ Ciao!
The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it’s all that matters.
