Our next NADD Dock Diving Trial is just around the corner:
June 23 through 25, 2017
(Friday to Sunday).
Splashes are nearly all booked, so hurry up and get your pups registered today, if you haven’t already!
Following are a few helpful tips and information regarding registration, the event itself and surrounding logistics. Event- and registration-related information below is provided by NADD, so kindly check their Event Page for potential updates/changes, as we get a little closer to the event dates – they may not be reflected on this page.

“Day of Show” entries may be available until limits are reached: 40 dogs per Splash, Air Retrieve/Vertical limits 10 dogs per Splash
A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $30.00.
Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of the two will be your Qualifying Score. (If your event offers the optional practice jump to get your dog wet first, you MUST inform the judge prior to your practice jump) Four minute time limit on the dock per Splash.
You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have 5 Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC through the AKC Recognition Program.

Our Dock is available for rental and lessons. Should you not be from the area and consider arriving a day or two early to take advantage of that, please make sure to call or email to make reservations ahead of time, as availabilities are limited (pre-payment required to guarantee your slots)!
Please note that there will be no on-site food vendors. We will be offering light snacks and refreshments. There are a multitude of coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores in close vicinity.
Towels, selected toys & training equipment are available for sale at our Training Center.
Times given below are approximate. As always, we will do our best to accommodate practice times and keep the event moving along smoothly, in order to not keep you all out longer than needed! 🙂

Splashes ($20 pre-registration/ $25 on-site) include up to 4 minutes on the dock for 2 judged jumps.
The order of dogs is set as a posted running order. We will allow for practice before or between Splashes as time permits. Try-its cost $15.00 and each dog will be given 3 minutes on the dock, as time allows.
The amazing Connie Fore of T&C Pet Photography will be present again to freeze your pups in motion. Information will be available at the check in counter during the event with all you need to know regarding getting your paws on your images. (Please note that no other photographers are allowed on the premises without prior approval from management and any images taken by participants are limited to personal use only.)
There are quite a few hotels close by our Training Center. We don’t have any affiliations or tried & true recommendations, but if you look up hotels in the area of our zip code that are pet-friendly within your budget and preferred star-rating, you will certainly find something suitable!
We are located at 3840 Old Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257, which is in the South-East part of Jax.
Shaded areas are available around the pool for you and your pooches to rest between splashes. Should you wish to utilize those, you are welcome to stop by and set up the day you arrive and leave your canopies, chairs, crates etc for the duration of the three-day competition. Our property is fully fenced, locked at night and under 24hr camera surveillance. However, please be aware that Karma K9 can’t assume responsibility for any items potentially lost or damaged. Should you not wish to leave your belongings over night, you may unload and set up at our Training Center, before parking your vehicle.
Parking directly at our Training Center is very limited. For as long as traffic can still pass, you are legally allowed to park all along either side of Old Sunbeam Road (see image below). Please park you vehicle with the accommodation of as many other cars in mind, to keep everyone as close to the event site as possible!
Kindly DO NOT occupy parking lots or property of adjacent businesses, as you may get towed (Chrome It Cycles / Mandarin Sea Life, Peeple’s Appliances or PepBoys)! Spaces on Old Sunbeam Road proved sufficient during past, highly frequented events, should the need arise, however, plenty of additional parking is available at the closed Kmart across the street (San Jose Blvd, by Zaxby’s)(see image below).
